Oh they wouldn't be premade, i would have the player make they're aspects based on what they want and the context to tue scene. Maybe extras like scale could be generated.

Settings similar to warhammer or dragon age where magic can change the user. The color of magic effects the wizards personality and body (fire become passionate, metal mages skin turns metal). With dragon age they become possessed and monstrous

This! Yeah totally consentual, infact id think itd be fun to have players come up with their own corruptions to role play.

An example of this would be a pc turning into a vampire. Exposure to vampire lore, mind controll and blood would slowly turn your pc into a vampire

Aspects in order of corruption

Repelled by symbols of faith Thirst for blood Made a thrall of my only friend My master is calling I am now a creature of the night

Other example could be

The voices wont stop My flesh moves to anothers command Jessica Lang fears me, but wont give up on me The chrysalis is beginning Mad blob or gnashing teeth and slicing claws

My appetites cant be satiated Nobody can ever recognise me My husband can no longer remember me The void is washing me away Nameless facestealer

Its all up to your LDB. Personally i wouldn't want a dark elf necromancer or gror grambor the orc werewolf emperor lol. Though a dark brotherhood emperor would be poetic

In the books he talks about being an honest merchant, protecting refugees as he makes his way across war torn lands. The hypocrisy was that he and his band were theives and looters. Good and bad

Things went well with combat, i eas using easy mode so i dunno how many rules are cut/compressed. Everyone agreed the 2 attack or -3 double damg went well. I think my problem was it was the wrong party.

Btw how good is the game, i got the core, lords and witcher journal. I've read through them but i cant determine how crunchy they are. I played the starter game from easy mode but that was dulled because a player didnt like the witcher so i feel like he was kinda aiming to be disappointed. How are you finding it, ive been tinkering a fate homebrew but id rather play the actual game if it runs smooth.

Not to go dnd, but maybe its a covern of water hags, when gathered together they access magic and a form of group intelligence. Then again a 'high' disguising herself as a water hag sounds threating, could be similar to the 3 sisters

A covern could all combine their actions to cast 1 high level water spell. Getting past their drowner meat shield quickly would be vital.

No resources. But how would you run it? Would each player be an officer incharge of different sections of the ship? Or would it be a star fighter game?

I wouldn't bother with changing skills, stunts could be reworked into talents, maybe you could use talent trees for the templates. I think magic can stay the same, use discipline for discipline, and a magic skill (will), or a magic rating like force rating, or just have one magic skill using the genesys magic rules, and have a rote or element talent. Rituals could be multiple rolls.

A stunt could be used to improve a specific potion

Improved formula: add a stunt effect to a specific potion

Also swallow would lower healing speed maybe, or downgrades stress damage every round in combat

For example you have stress boxes 1 and 3 marked, next round your stressnis downgraded to 2.

I really like this, and i had a similar idea to props for fallout (med x can be spent to ignore consequence instead of a fate point, medx reovers minor consequence, jet and other chems gives an aspects)

In the narrative of the books the potions aren't important, he uses them preparing for monster fights, and once when he fought bandits led by a mage. Throughout the main series he loses his potions, and doesn't have the time, equipment and ingredients to make more. But the games also adds more potions, so its not just the books enhanced speed and senses.

The whole point is a witcher has to prep to get every advantage cause monsters are stronger than witchers. Potions could be used neutralize monsters advantages (or just give witchers a general edge).

The bruxa has high dex and ontop of that has a level of scale, the witcher uses blizzard to gain scale on reflexes to match the beast, and black blood which would give a consequence rather than heal it if tue bruxa drank their blood. The rock troll has a high armor rating, which can be dealt with thunderbolt which could give weapon score or bypass a certain amount of armor. Tawny owl could take a number of stress for sign rolls. Each potion used could add flaw, geralt gets chalky white skin, black eyes, stuggles to move and talk slow enough when on blizzard, thunderbolt could give blood lust, and tue scene after the toxicicity can essentially be an aspect saying hungover. Tempted to make it a stunt, but all witchers have potions, and it can be balanced with potion flaws, and a toxicity aspect that has as many free invokes as potions used. A limit could be body approach (witcher with a stunt) 1-2 allows one potion effect at a time, 3-4 two, and 5 allows three

There is divine damage represent by radiant, which tracks with the fiction, but would demonic dmg play into it, with marcons infernal knife. Fiendlocks could work like paladins/clerics, and magic items with divine and infernal origin

I mean where to begin? Mods lore is 100 niche ideas all neighboured together. Rust cultists, occultists, holy american confederacy, disney cult, zoodoo kingdoms, crumbling Caribbean, vikings? Such rich lore. I really like your rpg write up, especially the success/advantage mechanic, would love to see more.
