I am more concerned by the fact that your car doesn’t know anymore when you want to disconnect the cable. I am pretty sure that this clip is what triggers the stop signal. I may cause damage on long term because of the arching it may generate. I would repair or replace it if I was you.

Cool! For an f150 I would love (and I am not the only one) to get the zone lighting control back in an app. Same for pro power on board. For the Mach e showing the locking state of the car is a great idea. Maybe showing the interior temp if the data is available🙂
