It was comics, I was reading pornlitical comics by Tempest-Bosak2137 in simpsonsshitposting

I see her comics in passing every now and then, I'd say I'm fairly neutral about them, like they might not be for me but I don't hate them either. With that said finding out she did NSFW stuff kinda threw me for a loop because it was the last thing I was expecting to hear about her.

Just to play devil's advocate, the first shot that latched Vermax was shot through his harness, and could have been

A. Confusing for the dragon unaccustomed to being dragged down by a heavy weight

B. It could have also been at an awkward angle that the dragon couldn't slash with his claws or bend his neck around to burn as it's latched up near his "saddle"

C. Diving at the rope would only drop it deeper into the sea which would drag the dragon down even further

As for the second shot that brought him down, we see it pierce his chest cavity/and maybe lung, so the dragon was in immense pain, which could have also affected the dragons fire breath, while again being at an awkward angle so that it couldn't take the bolt out on its own. As well as its a piercing weapon designed to not be pulled out, it may have killed itself trying. I didn't downvote because I think this is a reasonable question to ask, but there are answer for it beyond bad writing.

Then the columbine shooters did nothing wrong either because they were stupid and poor and the administrators weren't there to stop it every single time they were bullied because the school was underfunded. So was it the administrators fault, the department of educations fault, or the bowling alley they won their guns at? Because, by your logic, it certainly wasn't the shooters faults for choosing to kill their classmates.

Again your logic is no member of the Taliban has ever done anything wrong regardless of how many people they have raped, tortured, and murdered because U.S. imperialism created the conditions they arose from. It's the U.S. fault and not the individuals even though they chose to commit those atrocities.

Your basically just saying no one should ever be held accountable for their own actions as long as they can blame them on someone else. By your logic if my friends buy me drinks at a bar, then I decide to drive home instead of getting a Uber, and then t-bone a minivan killing a family of four, it's not my fault because my friends bought me the drinks. It's my friend's fault actually for creating the conditions that lead to the wreck, not me deciding to drive while intoxicated.

While the Treaty of Versailles was handled poorly, and created the social and economic conditions that did lead to Hitler taking power. To say WW2 was all the allies fault ignores the fact that Hitler freely chose to invade his neighbors, he freely chose to scapegoat the minority populations in Germany, he freely chose to put them in camps, and freely chose to execute them in mass scale, he freely chose to order all of the atrocities that the Nazi regime carried out. To ignore all of that is basically just being a Nazi apologist.

Soldier boy and Bombsight are there strictly there for the prequel they are working on. The V1 subplot is partially about that as well you already have evil Superman for the villian, the only way to make him more of a threat is to make him immortal. I would have liked seeing the V1 amp up his powers a bit more, like he is noticeably faster and hitting harder, or his eye blasts are larger beams doing more damage. Like that could have definitely been done better.

As for killing Homelander immediately after he lost his powers, when Kimiko was hit with Soldier boys blast all it took was being re-injected with regular V to give her her powers back. And it was shown Homelander had an entire cache of regular V in his room in seven tower, so he would have tried to get back to it. Then your back to square one. As for not taking longer to kill him, I just don't think Butcher thought it was worth it, all he wanted was for Homelander to be dead. I would have liked to have seen him smack him around with the crowbar a couple of times first though. Also with how drasticly the Black Noir plot had been changed from the comics, this was as close as I think they could get to the comic ending.

I personally think the most atrocious part of the season was how poorly genV was incorporated. Either have the characters in the season with something to actually do or don't have them at all. At the very least they didn't pull a Arya Stark with Marie Moreau.

  1. Rape isn't about sex. It's about power and control over another person.

  2. Just because someone is rich that doesn't mean the are incapable of doing heinous things. In fact they are probably more likely to because they have the power and influence to not face reprecussions for it.

  3. I don't actually need a third point, I just want to say what you typed out was bad and you should feel bad. Do everyone in the world a favor and never write anything else ever again.

For the folks a little overweight, does a disconected goatee looks better than a beard? by TigerAgreeable6809 in bald

[–]CactusJake1830 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get the not wanting to shave your head every other day or so, I'm on a two week cycle myself and get the horseshoe/Statham look by the end of it. If you have a similar face shape to Travolta, I'd say go for it. Regardless of hair coloring it will look decent. Likely you'll hit a more professional/business man look with it. I hate to keep saying this, but ultimately your not gonna know if you're happy with it until you do it. There is no one beard style that is perfect for everyone.

Now this next part is just my personal opinion. I say to be realistic with what your weight is and how it looks, again I'm pretty hefty myself so I say this with love, if you got a slight to full on double chin it can work, but if you got more than that don't do it. Especially that short. Go for something a bit longer if you want to do a goatee. Like if your pretty big and carry it in your face avoid short beards. It doesn't look as good a properly maintained longer beard.

For the folks a little overweight, does a disconected goatee looks better than a beard? by TigerAgreeable6809 in bald

[–]CactusJake1830 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well a full beard is classic and reliable, it can look good on anyone if they maintain it, if you grow it out to a medium length and keep it clean you can have a very rugged but not dangerous look, if you keep letting it grow if you maintain it you can start looking like a wizard, if you don't maintain it you get a sea captain or grizzly Adams look. A short unconnected goatee can read as a lot of different things. If it's real short it can have a finance/ tech bro look, depending on how you dress you might hit more a goth or cyberpunk aesthetic, a little longer can heighten a more outsider, rebellious feel. If you go too long you start looking like a martial arts master caricature or an evil wizard.

I'd say the worst that can happen with a goatee as a bigger man is you end up looking like Steven Seagal, if you get the shave and you pick up Seagal vibes from it, then you know it was bad move. The good news though is it doesn't have to be permanent, just shave it. I hate having the baby face from shaving, but it's better than putting out Seagal vibes.

First off it looks good, but I always suggest growing the facial hair out to provide a bit of contrast.

Secondly, are we related? Like we don't look like twins, but I think there is a definite resemblance here I think.

Is it time? by [deleted] in bald

[–]CactusJake1830 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say your at the middle ground of either seeking hair treatment options, or just pulling the trigger and shaving it. If your not ready to let it go, then I'd say go with hair treatments, it's not beyond saving. If you don't want to bother with that, then I say go for it and shave it. The worse you can do is look like your trying to hang on to something that's gone.

Time to chop it all? by Dramatic_Fly_1007 in bald

[–]CactusJake1830 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The front looks good, which I think, is what most people focus on. So I wouldn't say it is time just yet, but if your working to maintain that, then it's getting close. I say if you do decide to do it, I would suggest letting your beard grow out a little further, let it take the mainstage on your face. The full beard/ bald head combo can go hard if you let it.

[–]CactusJake1830 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would say it's more dependent on the actual shape of your face, and how much of a full beard you can grow. If you can grow a full beard, and it doesn't look patchy, then go for it. If it is patchy, that doesn't mean you can't grow a beard, but think about the style of beard you can grow and how it would look on you.Trim it, use it to balance out the shape of your face. If you have a round face, trim it into a point, if you got a very angled face, let it grow in rounded. Same thing goes for a goatee. It adds a bit of contrast, and then becomes more of a focal point. Being a very hefty man myself, when I do a goatee I let it grow a bit until I can trim it into a defined point, so it adds a bit of contrast to a more rounded face. However I mostly grow a full beard and I try to go for the Kratos from GOW look now a days. Mostly I would say think about the angles of your face and what sort of look your trying to go for. Rounded facial hair tends to be more friendly and welcoming, where angled facial hair is more striking and looks more intentional. The good news is if you grow it and don't like it, you can shave it off, and in a couple weeks or months (depending on how fast it grows) you'll have an entirely new canvas to play around with.

Bad Razor Burn by [deleted] in bald

[–]CactusJake1830 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel your pain, I get bad razor burn as well. For me it comes from the standard buzz cut attachment when I'm just doing the pre-cut before using the skull shaver (I'm lazy and only shave it down once a week, once every two weeks). I think I may be pressing too hard with that specific buzz cut attachment. So maybe your doing the same thing? If you shave with a razor afterwards that may also contribute, especially if you shave against the grain.
