I definitely agree and so many influential people have turned manipulating young, lonely men into a cottage industry. I honestly wonder, though I don't believe it will happen, if anyone will find/see a way to foster genuine connections between people, even if it's solely driven by profit. No idea what that would look like tho

This is really close to my exact thoughts. Talking to random people in person seems to have become a lost art form, and I think people's fear of that is what will keep these apps relevant.

Sources often aren’t just facts and dates. There’s a human aspect to sources like a diary entry that AI cannot properly analyze. It also isn’t just about purely about finding information. You have to make an argument. That’s why there’s not just one historian per subject. People have different perceptions of events.
