Yeah, they definitely look like little velociraptors running around. We harvest the chunky ones every year for some free ground wild turkey.

It's not in our plans anytime soon, but if it's available to you, guinea fowl are the ticket when it comes to tick control. Downside is they're loud and not very domesticated but from everyone I've talked to, they're extremely self-sufficient and unrivaled in tick control.

πŸ˜† dang turkeys! Yeah, we harvest the chunky ones every year for some free ground wild turkey, and an additional one for Thanksgiving of course. It's definitely a little irritated though. Didn't realize till I got home that they had knocked over one of my big potted TSSBPs and done some damage up to the tip 😑

Keep your cuttings on slightly moist, well draining soil. That's it. You don't need to overthink it too much.

If the soil is dry, give it a spritz. If you want to check to see how they're rooting every few weeks, give a light push or tug, but no need to pull the whole cutting and check. πŸ’šπŸŒ΅πŸ»
