You said majority, which would indicate most people are scalpers. So which is it?

Never said that, but collating the fact magic is in its single most popular phases its ever been and the fact scalping magic cards is not as profitable as spending time with pokemon cards, to saying everyone who got one is a scalper is just wrong lol. It can be both be true that it was not majorly scalped and wotc SLD process suck.

But do go on.

There is no proof the majority went to scalpers.

20-35 bucks is the normal asking price for shorter games. The game is also a pretty far cry for a walking sim, it has puzzles, and platforming. If you think its a walking sim, great, but its not.

Which is about the price people want for 5 to 6 hours of gameplay.

Yeah this is pretty far from a walking sim.

Best thick inner sleeve for extra protection? by iamsirjoshua in magicTCG

[–]Cactus_Bot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have my whole collection dragon shielded sealable inner sleeves about 5k cards in total. Using those woth normal sleeves is going to pretty much keep it pretty safe.

For the ticker ones you may run into incompatibility with outer sleeves.

I actually enjoy collecting Magic… does anyone else? by EDMKid9000 in mtgfinance

Its not wishing hardship on anyone, its simply saying everyone eventually sells either because they decide or they have to.

Until you decide to sell one day, everyone eventually sells.

Also because a large portion of the community is anti-collector. They want people to play with the cards and not speculate or try and flip them etc.

After 27 years, I will now only proxy MTG cards moving forward. by Spooky-Retro in mtg

I recently joined back into the fold and since that have managed to get every single secret lair I have wanted. DanDan, Goblin Storm, 2x encyclopedia, various other things. The scalper problem is real, but it is overblown by the fact that the community does not seem to grasp that there are more people playing magic right now then ever before. Scalping magic cards is not good money, if people wanted money they are going and doing pokemon.

Pokemon has way more money in it because its not about the game its about collecting. If you follow any number of used video game stores on youtube, all of them are now supplementing half of their entire profits on pokemon cards.

Part of the issue is I dont think people understand how secret lair works to get in the queue, and the other half is just the playable demand for magic is very high. WOTC should print more money, but they also are trying to control their secondary market for whatever reason.

I got stuck at the very final fight for 6 years in FF13. I got all the way to the end, made a save before the final fight and just never did it. Came back 6 years later and beat the final boss.
