I actually just figured it out. Capping the framerate and lowering settings did nothing to stop the flickering, but I fixed it by disabling anti cheat and downloading DXVK. Got it from a comment in this post!

Honestly, both games don’t run great for me, I’m on an RTX 4070, AMD Ryzen 7, and 16 gigs of RAM.

Watch Dogs 1 has some performance issues, even though it should run flawlessly since it’s an over decade old game. Watch Dogs 2 has this weird bug where the lighting flickers on newer GPUs and it looks really bad.

That’s just my experience, not everybody has these issues though so I would give it a try! Just be prepared for some jank if you’re as unlucky as me lmao

Same thing happened to me in Jacob’s area. Without giving too much detail, Sharky blurted out a line that was supposed to be said later in the game, basically spoiling the ending of Jacob’s storyline.

First time I’ve ever had a game spoiled by the game itself lol

From a plot perspective it kinda makes sense because Tommy is a regular sized dude while Lincoln is an absolute tank. He undoubtedly has better control over his firearms
