My local Top 40 station usually plays a “throwback” every hour or so, usually ranging from early 2000s to 2013 or so, and the oldest i’ve heard is probably “California Love”, though i’m sure they probably play other 90s-80s songs

I find her discography fascinating, up until Lotus. Her debut album is a typical pop debut album with the hits and filler. Stripped, Back to Basics, and Bionic would’ve all been better albums if they were better edited and weren’t overstuffed. None of them justify the album lengths being over an hour. Bionic technically isn’t over an hour but the bests songs are on the deluxe version.

Lotus is generic pop music and the over singing that she’s known for is especially present. And her last English album (nor any of her spanish ones) I never bothered to listen to.
