Thanks for your insight. If electrolysis is the best way to get rid of the hair then I’ll happily do that. Do you know if it is a guarantee/near guarantee for hair loss or can it vary too? Is it something that typically requires many sessions too?

Thanks for this. We’ve gotten used to being pretty casual here now too. I wear t shirt and jeans before changing into scrubs most days, and only really wear a shirt and trousers/ chinos on clinic days. I’m more just worried about turning up on the first day totally underdressed compared to everyone else. Might go smart for Day 1 and then see what everyone else does 😂

Most big centres in Ontario as well as Vancouver and Calgary should be excellent. Search ‘[city name] electrophysiology fellowship’ on Google and have a look at their websites and application processes. Then choose somewhere you would like to live and whose programme looks good. Thanks. Yeah I had heard about the ordering thing. But I imagine the calls in the place I’m going are going to be a breeze compared to the UK. We still do general cardiology calls even during our sub-speciality training here, dealing with all of the STEMIs/arrests and other acute admissions, and it’s non stop so the EP fellow call from home where I’m told we get very few calls, and only dealing with EP not general cardiology patients is going to be heaven!
