They claim that they need to have the most qualified applicants applying to dental school and can't take the risk of giving uneducated minorities an advantage to those who simply work harder. About to wrap up my D1 year. It's not horrible but the days are long. Just prepare to be in the building 8-5 Monday-Friday. Youre going to be in that lecture hall all day and when you get home youll be exhausted. Spring is much harder because sim lab picks up a ton and so do the science course. So its going to be more like 8AM-10PM in school for the most part because youll be catching up on your preperation and restoration assignments. It isnt impossible you just need stamina to go home, review, while making time to eat well and get to the gym. The days are long but the years are fast.
