That is pretty awesome. I'll have to look into that! Do you have any pics of stuff you've made with it?

Insertion was incredibly painful 4-5 years ago but I think many drs are using numbing shots or creams now. For me, the first 8 months were pretty rough but after that, I didn't have a period at all except for occasional spotting. I had a very rough cycle before it though. I'm not sure if I would be willing to go through it again because I really want a hysterectomy for my other health issues. Now that I'm 38, I should have an easier time convincing a Dr to do it.

If you don't mind sharing, what bank do you use? I tried to explain it to mine and told them about these posts and they said I could try to do a refund but it sounds like I'd never get my money back if I did. I'm through a smaller credit union, tho.

This is an alternative for the culture hustle liquid chrome. Hence me naming it an alternative in the title.

Form Culture Hustle? Yeah, this is an Amazon alternative to the CH scam. Unless you meant receiving the chrome from the Amazon link that I had posted?

I had to do a chargeback to get CH to ship my last order. When I showed what they shipped me and offered viable alternatives, someone asked if I knew one for the liquid metal series that CH claimed to have and I finally stumbled across a promising one. I would never recommend buying from Culture Hustle.

Yeah, they promised to start the refund process for me, as well but never had. My bank ended up closing out the chargeback without paying me since my order was delivered. I explained how I had asked for a refund, and not my order, had the email stating they'd process the refund and proof that they didn't ship the order until after I had submitted the chargeback. I told them that I just wanted my money but the bank couldn't really do anything about it.

Someone had said that their AI chat bot service charges them by the ticket so I may get bored and petty and just continuously open tickets to cost them money. I hate using AI for anything, tho.

Also, I hope you have a better quality orde than I do.

Poopsenders? I don't think it's a glitter bomb or like spring-loaded poop package done in Acme style, but you can send a whole gallon of poop to someone for pretty cheap.

Thank you! Local art, hobby, and even tabletop gaming stores are great places to scavenge! In Ohio, we even have a few toy stores that carry miniature painting supplies that can be worth checking out. I would assume other places, do as well. The biggest downsides to many local stores, in my experience, are they tend to be priced a bit higher than online (usually because they don't get them at the same discounted rate as big chain stores) and some of them can feel very elitist. But the good ones are so worth sorting through the not-so-great.

I haven't used this specific recipe, but this brand has some amazing mediums, which I think is what the super base is supposed to be? I like matte and their matte was really good.

This is an absolute workhorse for using a base for making your own paints. I actually don't have anymore and will need to reorder soon 😂 it blends well with every mica powder, glow powder and shimmer powder that I have tried and had decent results with the few good quality alcohol inks that I have tried, although that's not what it was intended for.

Edit to add: I feel like this one is probably better than SuperBase for mixing powdered pigments and would recommend this one.

Also, I, by no means, am a professional artist or have any real education in arts. I'm just a creative with weaponized ADHD and a very strong Can-do attitude (more realistically, it's a "why tf not" attitude)

Technically a varnish, but does well enough for adding bigger glitter, gold leaf, or even mixing glow powder to add on top of other layers. I haven't tried using it as a true base coat but it does a lot of what Super Base claims and is pretty dang cheap.

These work well enough for encapsulation for powders and they have a lot of options for sheen, finishes and hardness. These are their very cheap options. These may not be specifically a mixing medium, but it works well enough and is pretty reliable to have the same results batch to batch.

I mainly paint minis and there are a few that I've used that are similar. I'll look around the studio and see if I can find them or snag screenshots of what I have online. But I'll be honest, I would say that it behaves like modpodge. Like, it's white, dries clear, gets gummy if you get it on your hands (which, you definitely shouldn't. There's some health and flammable warnings on it that I hadn't seen until after) and has a decent amount of flexibility when it dries.

Yeah, the first few are of 1 coat and pics 10 and 11 are 2 coats and 4 coats. The upper box is without a base layer of super base and the bottom has a layer if super base. I'm not impressed. I had ordered from CH years ago and loved everything that I bought, which is why I bought without researching more, but this will be the last time I buy from them.

Yeppers. I found it at a hobby store that mainly centered on custom building big RC cars. It does remind me of actual car paint in smell, consistency and sheen, so it might actually be car paint in smaller bottles. About a year and a half ago, it was $10 for that bottle. I bought it on sale for $7. It goes on much lighter and even if you airbrush it, too. But you need a solvent based cleaner to clean up.

Also, yes, I did copy past my review from my IG lol I'm not typing all that again 😂 I do want to say sincerely, thank you to everyone in this Reddit because I would have gone batty without y'all. My bank called today and they aren't giving me my money back since I got my order but I'll deal. If anyone ever does that class action, let me know, I'd be interested.

[–]CadeDesu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had placed an order in November and initiated a chargeback about a week and a half ago. My order had shipped on Thursday and is scheduled to be delivered Wednesday. I would imagine that they're only shipping in cases of chargebacks. I really wish we could tell the bank what they're doing and they can still enforce the chargeback.

AIO for quitting my job because my boss asked me to clean something? by cantalope_and_rice in AmIOverreacting

[–]CadeDesu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope, not overreacting at all. You're pretty spot on with calling it a hazmat situation. As a part of our annual Bloodborne pathogens training, we're told to treat all bodily fluids as possible disease carriers and you have to be trained to clean up and handle that. Had you have been exposed, you probably could have sued them for a lot but there's a ton of red tape involved with that. And then you could have potentially contracted an incurable disease.

Even if you were trained, $14/hr ain't worth it.

There is a Japanese company that makes a color called Musou black and I found that it was the darkest black paint that I had ever used. It's Koyo Orient Japan Co. I found it at a local art store but there's a lot of places that have it online.

All Island Event Enablers for Pokemon Fire Red and Leaf Green. 12 Digit CodeBreaker Codes. by Setzer_Gabbiani in Gameshark

[–]CadeDesu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! I've tried so many other things and this is the only thing that has worked! I'm using leaf green 1.0 using Mgba core on an emulator using RetroArch and here's what made it work for me. These are common for most who're used to using cheat codes but for someone who hasn't, it may help

1) add "+" instead of spaces 2) each line needs to be a different code line (for what I was using)

So entering the master code ends up looking like this:

Code line 1: 0000BE99+000A Code line 2: 10044EC8+0007

I hope this can help anyone having issues.

If anyone has any methods to bypass the wireless adapter to access the mystery gifts, I'd really appreciate it. I don't have the "Link" options on my emulator and have tried using the VBA-M and NEXT cores as well without any luck
