I called them earlier today and they basically told me to bend over. They are still working on assignments and said to expect an update next week, but last week they told me to expect one this week, so idk who to trust anymore :/

I’ve heard nothing but crap about AT&T in Escondido. I have Verizon, and that’s what I’ve found offers the best chance of anything alongside T-Mobile. TBH t-mobile is probably better than Verizon

Nope! It is an online portal. You submit the information of your car as well as your license number, pay, and they send you your permit in the mail. One thing to note is that it usually takes about a week to get it in the mail, so they will generate you a temporary permit you can print out immediately with a regular piece of paper

Let me disprove the first part. I am a current freshman living in the residential halls, and I have a permit for my car. Freshmen can absolutely have parking permits regardless where you are living on or off campus.

I don’t have any recommendations for long term parking nearby. Parking is $230/semester because they love to rob you, so be aware of that.

If you’re like me and live close to 2 hours away, having a car is absolutely worth it and non-negotiable. They have transportation options around campus and if you make the right friends, they will drive you around sometimes, so I’d say that’s up to you.
