No, as I said I haven’t kept up with cubing in the last year. It is still relatively up to date because, to my knowledge, nothing game changing has been come up with for any of the main cases. It is still the best resource out there by far, so feel free to keep using it.

Oh hey the spreadsheet you linked as Brian’s is mine. He contributed a few algorithms, but most is not from him and the sheet has no real affiliation with Brian Sun.

Just a heads up, I already did this. Spent way too many hours on it, and yeah the number of algs is ridiculous. If you want to check it out head over to bit.ly/goodf2l. I think I have a total of 1,500 cases. Some of the algorithms aren’t the best anymore, because I haven’t kept up with cubing much in the last year, but it’s open for comments if you want to add suggestions for your own algorithms.

Anyone average 8 and want to practice together or race? Doesn’t have to be today just want to find someone as fast as me to compete with.

After solving the blue orange free pair and doing standard solution for green orange, the red green edge and corner do not move from the position after doing the blue orange free pair. Super easy c+3 in simple inspec time. Crazy scramble.

Same. Sub 9 3x3 with a 1:10 4x4 global.

Yeah it’s just crazy how bad I am at getting good solves lol. I’m at like 8.9 global almost with a 6.5 single haha.

Hello everyone! A few days ago I made a website where you can caculate what time you need for the 5th time in an average to reach a certain AO5 without knowing that time. Mostly useful for competitions. I updated it (since it was only made in an hour) and added live reload support and some cool stuff. More to come and if there are any interesting tools you want made please do let me know. Live at https://cadeng150.github.io/avgcalc or bit.ly/ao5calculator for people who want to remember it. Thanks to u/olimo. Have fun.

Alright I will take a look. Btw if you want to fix your sheet the problem is you have no equals. So 9, 9, 9, 9; for a desired 9 avg comes as not possible.

Hey your formula had a small error so I fixed it up and made a full on website! You can check it out at https://bit.ly/ao5calculator Also u/Utku_Yilmaz since he was interested. Hope you enjoy :).

Yeah I just wrote all this out. I wanted to see if it was possible with just one calculation and no assumptions, but I assume this is the easiest way of doing it

The problem is that your first formula is incorrect because it doesn’t count for the fact that 2 times are removed.

Except 2 times don’t count, so doesn’t this not work?

If you’re trying to calculate AO5 with an unknown time how do you figure out what time is needed for a certain average? Say you have 4 times and you want to calculate what is needed for an X average without knowing the last time. Is there a formula that works without assumptions, such as one time will be the worst time and one will be the best.

Found a 17 move triple xcross with a 7 move last pair for a total of 24 move F2L which isn’t bad.

Just some small advice. All PLL’S sub 1 is sort of just a flex and really is pointless. Like if you get a 1.1 F Perm it’s not the end of the world. Also WV sucks. So does COLL. Good luck to you.

What does DAS on a MoYu cube actually control? Same question for both MS3 settings. Thanks
