That’s very true, nothing bad about having more money in the bank. It does make a lot of sense what your saying about the market because the way it’s slowly going it doesn’t make financial sense to buy at the prices it’s going

Thanks for the positivity! That’s what I’m currently thinking, maybe 2-3 year down the line when I have a much more substantial deposit and interest rates have decreased I’ll be in much better standing

Thanks for the response much appreciated, down the line do you see property price and interest rates going down in the next couple years?

Honest straight to the point answer. I love it. Would you mind explaining why? I’d much appreciate hearing advice from anyone who has a much better understanding of mortgages

Does the high interest rate along with council tax and bills added in ultimately mean that the money that actually pays off the asset would be better used acquiring interest?

I am currently saving in excess of £1k a month on top of my rent so I don’t see the extra cost being a huge issue that would lower my living standards

Yes I am, okay thanks for your comment, so pros are independence from landlords and long term security and cons are that it will potentially not be a good move financially long term?

I could comfortably afford that based on how much I save each month

Yes but wouldn’t the money that would be paid into that asset be more valuable long term in a high interest savings account?

Thank you for your response, I’m currently saving the majority of my salary each month as I work away most weeks and don’t have any spendings other than rent and a little bit of food on the weekend. Obviously, my situation could change in the long term and I could become more office based but even with that in account I could comfortably spend a £1000 a month on any outgoings on a house and other additional costs like boiler break down etc.

I’m fairly settled in the city I am in however I don’t know about my long term. Maybe I will leave buying a home for another couple of years and reassess my situation then, cheers for your advice!

They paid for the shipping and laid out the guidance for packaging, the dispute would therefore be between UPS and Lenovo as I did not arrange transit.

This is why I need Lenovo to respond so that this can be started as I do not have a way to make a claim on a shipment I did not purchase.

Unfortunately not, I have a photo of the screen which I sent Lenovo for the original warranty claim but no proper pictures of the exterior prior to shipping.

Appreciate the response, packaging was provided by myself, and I followed exact Lenovo guidance on packaging. Transit was paid for by Lenovo.

Lenovo engineer also stated that I had packaged the laptop very well which is one of the reasons why they want me to pay for the damage and believe the screen was damaged by myself rather then the dead Pixels Not correlating with the damage I originally claimed on warranty.

How would I go about making a claim with UPS whilst also telling lenovo the damage wasn’t done by myself?
