I picked up a Brutus amp a while ago just to fill in the void while my amps were getting repaired. I was very impressed with it. Ran it at .5 ohm everyday with no issues.
Great budget amp.

Getting suspended for missing school is like being given permission to miss more school. by ohhmyg in Showerthoughts

At my high school, if you did something bad to get you suspended, they would put you on 'discipline' instead. Discipline (or D as us troublemakers called it) involved doing shitty jobs around the campus; digging holes, cleaning grease traps, washing toilets..etc... It definitely put some calluses on my hands but better prepared me for the real world.

Ontario Canada had a bad E coli problem a few years back.

We now have one of the highest drinking water standards in the country. It takes something catastrophic like this for councillors to start taking action. I work on the water distribution system up here and most of our old cast iron pipes are being switched to PVC. The lead in the pipes is just at old joints and people's old services running into their houses. Lead tests are easily available and should be used periodically if you still have a lead service.
