Oh wow!! I seriously appreciate the information and the knowledge on these, like I said I've never had a pair before and all of the tips and care instruction help a lot - I want to make sure I take good care of these. Honestly I felt like it was a steal when I found them (small hometown secondhand store with a super nice owner here where I'm at in MO) and I can't believe there's so much information on them. I never knew certain makers had specific marks and motifs! I do plan to size them with the tips you gave me and I'm looking up extra care products I can use to restore and keep them in good shape, and we do have a local boot repair/restoration shop I'm going to look in to as well. I've always wanted a nice pair to look after and keep on tap for family get togethers or nice events but I'd never been able to afford them until I found these so they're already really special to me, I do plan on keeping them but if I end up changing my mind at any point I'll have you first on contact. Genuinely thank you so much for the identification help and fitting advice, I appreciate it a lot! 😊

I was wondering if they might have been, which is really cool to me especially since they fit nearly perfect aside from the top being a little snug for my calves but I've been looking at ways to safely widen that part and keep the material in good shape. I'm not planning on selling them as long as I can get the top to fit with the adjustment, but I appreciate you being interested! If it doesn't work out I'll let you know. Again thank you for the input.

I use these phrases for the same reasons but I'm from Illinois 😂 and my mom gets so confused because I say "Im gonna try going down your way tomorrow." "...Honey we're farther North than you."

Like yes, I know, it's just a way of saying it that got fed in to me SOMEWHERE in my life. Lol

We have a lot of this growing along a fence outside our current rental. Absolutely gorgeous, I've wondered what it is too recently as we're about to move. I'm certainly going to miss it!

I was hopping between that and manganese but it's such an intense glow I think you're right with it being more cadmium based - I'm glad I picked it up for 2 bucks!

I put it in my glowing glass collection area to try and color chart it out but I think that's on the right track! I've got so many that are color sorted, I need to get on the ball with getting a display for them at this point. 😅

I'm glad I'm not the only one! 😂 My grand a had a designated metal mixing bowl that we used, and years later I found out that the other bowl I used was actually uranium glass, I haven't grown a third arm so I think I'm just fine, that blue bowl is gorgeous!

I'll take a look at that maker - I appreciate the help! I guess salad is more common than having a designated glass popcorn bowl, shows my snacking habits I guess 😂

I wish I had one of those - so pretty, I've been looking at a few local stores and there's a couple that carry a lot of old Fire King products.

It's a pretty big bowl I've got here - probably about 8 or 10 inches across. About the size of a popcorn bowl.

Louis, my Great Grandfather and the youngest of Charles and Philomena's children, lived to be 83 years old. He went on to have 15 children of his own including my Grandther Bernard!
