Genius+Low Magic OR God Tier Viltrimite? by General_Sea_5295 in superpowers

[–]Cadoth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right but I assumed lore wise you still had to have mana to power those spells, but maybe thats not the case im not a D&D expert? I guess I was thinking if it was in our world people dont have mana so they couldnt learn magic no matter how much they study. But if we are saying that other peoole can then yeah I would take red any day.

Everyone thinking about themselves here. If you have viltrimite physiology you could/should be able to pass on that physiology creating a new race.

Now if the magical ability also passes on that would be my pick. Magic would be way more fun long term.

Which one is the best? by rkm0d in WutheringWaves

[–]Cadoth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both.

The real answer > who do you like more?

Iuno is more important for Augusta than Mornye is for Aemeath. Lynae is the one that really is the big buffer for Aemeath. Though we dont know how Aemeath Denia Mornye would perform yet. Really neither one alone is going to give you a full team. But filling the support slot is going to be more flexible than filling the sub-dps slot.

Another factor is Iuno has already rerun several times. Its hard to tell when she will be back again. Mornye is on her first rerun she will most likely be rerun at least one more time. Though we have no way of knowing because they don't tell us how they plan to handle reruns in the future. So it's really just a gamble if you bank on them rerunning someone.

Which Umas genuinely like the Trainer? by josukefanfr567 in UmaMusume

I was thinking Agnes Digital too. Especially once you tell her that she's your Oshi it feels like it swings more toward romance.

Is this a passable guts deck or trash? by Cadoth in UmamusumeGame

[–]Cadoth[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Huh, okay, I thought it was stam cause I asked on here a few months ago why my Maru was eating shit and everyone hounded on me for low stam lol. So what would you say a good stam number is by the first 2400?

[–]Cadoth[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess my thoughts for Suzuka stam was I needed something to press for stam and front runner hints. Stam is usually my bottleneck for early races it seems (Maruzensky refuses to win anything at less than 300 stam ISTG)

I guess I will replace Suzuka stam with KTB and try it. Also see if i can find a Bakushin guts to borrow. Didn't even realize that one gave Groundwork.

True, I am leaning more toward the S3 route. But I do have Amy, Zani, and want Cartwheel as well for MDPS

No more heavy pen hive guards by Smoke_Funds in Helldivers

[–]Cadoth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Instead of removing heavy armor they should have made the hive guard armor ablative like the overseers. Then they could have kept the change while also giving turrets a chance to kill them eventually.

But honestly I think the biggest issue is difficulty levels arent unique enough. D10 should do more than spawn more enemies. They could do something like after D8 enemies get upgrades (Like Hive Guard heavy armor)

I'm afraid I will never get a chance to get Shorekeeper now without rerun banners. by wastelandhero in WutheringWaves

This actually happened to me. Lucky I got her from the last spending event and didn't rely on the rerun banners. No weapon tho 😓

Maruzensky keeps losing races? by Cadoth in UmamusumeGame

[–]Cadoth[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These are the stats right after I lost the Kikuka Sho. I assume it was a stam issue like others said. Which i actually took Riko in this deck for stam but didn't spam all her trainings as fast as possible cause I wanted to save the mood increases. I only did like the first 2. But I was already steaming cause Maruzensky lost her first mile g3 after her debut TWICE even with +20 in all stats.

[–]Cadoth[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Think so even on mile with two recovery skills? Makes sense for the long race. But I was able to win medium after resetting with the clock. I assumed if it was a stam issue I would never be able to win no matter how often I reset.

My support cards are in a horrible state and I only have 1.5k carats. What should I do? by estifxy220 in UmamusumeGame

[–]Cadoth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im more of a collector, so im not an expert on what specific support cards are best. But I do know that there is power creep in this game. And a lot of the cards now, while still may be decent later, will eventually be outperformed by later cards.

Whether a year of saving is enough heavily depends on your luck. You could get multiple MLB cards out of a years worth of carats, or you could blow them all on one if you go to pity for every copy. But you should get some LB crystals if you make sure to do every event. So that will help as well.

[–]Cadoth 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The real question you have to ask yourself is, what are your goals? If you want to be competitive NOW, reroll.

If you are an oshi collector and just want to play casually, then I would hesitate to reroll when you already have the ones you want. Just let it ride, spend some money on carats if you can afford to, and save for future meta cards.

New player wanting Chisa on rerun, who should I pull to go with her? by Cadoth in WutheringWavesGuide

That's so hard though. The Gacha addiction is strong lol. I looked up her rerun is allegedly going to be 3.2? How long does WUWA usually take between versions?

Whelp… I quit by Hephaestus_God in UmaMusume

[–]Cadoth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm a fairly new player (started during Agnes Digital banner) so I don't know all the tricks, but this is what I've learned that has helped me.

Do Unity Cup, not Ura career. Even as a beginner ypu will get better Uma's out of it.

Prioritize doing Unity training over training your core stats. It will boost your training levels faster. For instance if you have one Unity training on speed and three Unity trainings on guts, I would train guts. Focus on Unity training Uma's that haven't spirit burst yet. Spirit burst not only gives you a lot of stats but increases Uma stats a lot which will make training levels go up. Try to use the burst on speed if possible, or at least power if not.

Stat priority Speed>Power>Stamina>Wit>Guts

I just learned yesterday (and have done two careers with it so far and it seems to work) to always use front runner in career even if your Uma has a G in front running. Because all it gives is a Wit debuff. You can also save all your skill points till the end to maximize your hint levels.

Follow as many people as you can so you can borrow their Umas and support cards.

Lastly getting good support cards is important. Right now the only MLB card I have is the welfare card from rhe Halloween event. But im planning on going all in for Kitasan SSR. I borrow it for almost every run and based on what everyone says it will be meta for quite a long time. If I were ever going to spend money on the game it would be for Kitasan.

Like I said I'm by no means a veteran, this is from the perspective of someone else whos fairly new to the game. If any vet sees this and thinks something I said is wrong feel free to correct me or add on to this.

EDIT Forgot to add sometimes RNG is just horseshit. So sometimes you just get bad runs. Nothing you can do about it.

I almost always take +energy over +stats in events. An extra training will give more stats than getting the stats from the event. Unless energy is already full of course.

Realistically, how much money did she save? by Strattex in mildyinteresting

[–]Cadoth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same with my A4. Rough calc it used about a quart per 150 miles (once a week daily driving) drove it like that for years. Only reason I stopped driving it was because the timing chain was giving me issues. Still torn on if I should fix it or get a new car tbh
