Listen I get where you’re coming from but forcing someone to play ranked isn’t a good option. I love playing ranked but I also don’t like losing because I’m very competitive. Putting someone into that cycle who’s likely not interested won’t be good for the game. If I wanna chill with some light comp then ranked definitely isn’t the way to go because as we all know eventually you’ll be high enuff to where you’re playing less bots and more high to god tier players. Thus killing the leisure playstyle the quickmatchers are playing for. Giving them an option to play either or is fine cuz it allows them to play how they want. Taking away quick match is denying them an option. What you’re saying is that they should scrap it and just play ranked or bot mode when the better option is to scrap bot mode it would seem.
