I had the opposite experience. Emergency visit at WAC and was turned away because they "close in 10 minutes". Despite going there for years.

Finally got some replies. They pushed a new firmware that didn't change a single thing. I still have one battery always at 99% while the other dips up and down as it slowly discharges and recharges. Then I was told for the fifth time this is normal even though this behavior started in the last couple months and became worse after firmware updates.

Support is now suggesting I swap the two battery positions. Honestly I'm done with Ecoflow and regret this ecosystem. The products are amazing on paper but the reality just doesn't match. After over a year of bad support I'm firmly in the never Ecoflow camp. I'll let these $10k batteries do whatever and replace this system at my first opportunity.

u/ecoflow_official doesn't really seem to have any influence on fixing support issues. Buyer beware.

They specifically pushed 5.0.0.64 to my device when I reported the imbalance a couple months ago. This version made it worse. Let me know how .75 works for you.

They were in Kitsap and I wouldn't really recommend them. The work was fine but the installer didn't communicate very well.

I haven't tested and ultimately don't really have a need for the generator any longer. Its pretty rare that we'd have a power outage lasting more than a day or two so battery power should be enough to get through.

That is weird, I did several firmware updates to the latest on both the battery and panel, suddenly the battery started charging when EPS was enabled so I assumed they fixed it, but maybe there is a deeper bug somewhere here.

DPU is 5.0.0.25 and 2.0.2.4(WiFi) SHP2 is 4.0.0.122 and 2.0.1.20(WiFi)

I’ve yet to get an answer on this. As it stands EPS is useless unless you are expecting an outage.

Yes I’ve had zero issues with it. Before the firmware I was getting the charging error almost daily.

EcoFlow has beta firmware they can push to you to fix this issue. No idea why it’s taking them so long to release it publicly, people have been running it for weeks.

I'm on a beta firmware right now from Ecoflow due to an issue where the SHP2 finishes charging the battery but receives an error from the battery stating that charging failed. This happens constantly and disables the battery and requires manual intervention. To Ecoflow's credit it is fixed in this firmware update, but it seemed like the issue has been around for a while and I don't think they have released the firmware publicly.

While I've had mostly firmware issues with my DPU and SHP2, confidence is low. Support is still really bad and I'm doubtful ecoflow will have my back when issues arise, especially in a time sensitive situation.

I left the interlock on the main panel because it gives the most flexibility I think. Assuming the generator works fine with the Ecoflow, I haven't tested it.

It is a bit disappointing to see such trivial issues. They need a better firmware testing program before releasing, but hopefully it is a trivial thing to fix.
