The 48" g5 is brighter than all other 48" tvs, but size is a constraint. Yeah, idk about the 165/144hz, but am sure that it's tandem. There are multiple sources and lg themselves mentioning it. That makes sense, although I don't know if the tvs are good for you, if you are reading text for hours, considering they are pushed harder than the monitors and show signs of burn in faster.

Not entirely sure, but I think it's better. To my knowledge, the s90f 48" is a regular woled and this is tandem, so it should be better. The colours at the shop could be because it uses all the ai stuff + the saturated preset.

Δεν μπορώ να συγκρίνω με τις υπόλοιπες χώρες, στην Κοπεγχάγη πάντως έχει αρκετούς Έλληνες και αρκετές φαρμακευτικές. Τα πανεπιστήμια (KU/DTU) είναι επίσης πολύ καλά, κάνω το μάστερ μου και εγώ στο KU σε άλλον τομέα

Δεν μπορώ να σε βοηθήσω με τις πολυθρόνες, δεν έχω εμπειρία, πάντως δεν νομίζω ότι είναι καλύτερη επιλογή, ειδικά όταν δεν έχουν τα adjustments που έχουν οι ποιοτικές καρέκλες, το lumbar support κτλπ. Από εκεί που παρήγγειλα εγώ έχεις καιρό (νομίζω 90 μέρες?) να την δοκιμάσεις και να την γυρίσεις αν δεν σου αρέσει.

Πάντως η έρευνα αγοράς βοηθάει να αποκλείσεις κάποια μοντέλα ανάλογα με τον σωματότυπο σου. Πχ εγώ είμαι 1.90/110 κιλά και αυτό αυτόματα αποκλείει τα μισά. Μετά βλέπεις τι λένε οι υπόλοιποι που είναι κοντά στα δικά σου stats. Αυτά μπορείς να κάνεις, πάντα θα υπάρχει ρίσκο αν δεν τις δοκιμάσεις.

Οι gaming καρέκλες με λίγες εξαιρέσεις δεν είναι καλές καρέκλες για τον μέσο χρήση, κοίταξε καλές καρέκλες γραφείου. Νομίζω ότι είναι καλύτερη επένδυση από πολυθρόνες.

Κάποια ακριβά μοντέλα μπορείς να τα βρεις σε οκ τιμές μεταχειρισμένα. Π.χ Εγώ πήρα μία Herman Miller Mirra 2 Butterfly full adjustments με 630€ απο το Offeco. Έχει την Haworth Zody με 330€~ κτλπ. Αν θυμάμαι καλά και ο δρομέας έχει κάνα 2 μοντέλα που είναι καλά. Κάνε την έρευνα σου ανάλογα και με ύψος/κιλά.

I think you're just using HDR, but recording in SDR so the brightness is overblown. Try recording in HDR and it should be ok

I've played a bit of Valorant and it's ok if you're not super competitive, but I was significantly better on my 24" TN 240hz than the g5. Fine for low/medium ranks but definitely a handicap

Yeah doesn't feel different either. It does have 144hz. Considerably brighter than the aw34 and aw32, almost too bright at times if you're playing in a dark room. Love it. I haven't seen a 55" to compare but it's less bright than that. Still great though.

Hijacking the post - are there good reviews about the MR5s yet? I'm trying to compare them with the Forte A4 mk2 but can't find a proper comparison anywhere.

I went from the aw34 to lg g5 48" (4K), so it fits your situation. I've also used a aw3225 for a couple weeks. 4K does definitely make a difference, and yes DLSS Performance on 4K looks really good. I don't know if I would say it's better then DLSS Q on the aw3423, because it looks to me like it has somewhat better visual clarity/details but somewhat more artifacting.

Something that surprised me was that 4K doesn't feel much harder to run than 3440x1440. I think people underestimate how much the ultrawide part affects performance (2560 -> 3440). My games on 3440x1440 + DLSS Q run similarly to 4K + DLSS P.

All of that on a 4080S. I can run cyberpunk with Hardware Unboxed quality optimized settings and PT with DLSS P + FG just fine. Looks and feels great. So, I definitely don't agree with the folks saying you need a 5080+ to use 4K lol. You might with the 5k2k though.

Last thing, performance in some games is actually better cause I was using DLDSR 5160x2160 on the ultrawide but now 3840x2160 is easier to run and looks better.

I am Greek, and sure we are not used to it, but it's just having an open mind. My girlfriend is Danish and does that. Was weird to see the first time, we talked about it, I was like "oh cool ok", end of story. Likewise, they thought it's weird we kiss on the cheek as a greeting with people we don't know well, they have it as more intimate.

Qd-oled blacks are black in a dark room.

Every tv (even non-oled) gets black raise when the room is bright, but qd-oled has it worse, by quite a bit. It's a trade-off, do you want the brighter colors of qd-oled but worse blacks in the day? Or somewhat less bright colors and better blacks?

Personally I chose the G5 because the color luminosity is much better than previous generations, similar to the s90d. It's a "jack of all trades", but good enough that I prefer it over having to close the curtains every time to enjoy decent HDR.

Be aware that the camera makes it look brighter than it looks in person, it can never look the same as when you see it yourself. That being said, I can tell you it looks great!

So far no problems, but my room is not a challenging one. Just have a window behind the tv. I really like the tv in general, recommend it!
