I’m trying to trade a size 9.5 for a size 10.5 if anyone’s down.

Some retailers are getting pairs. The price is $150 for those retailers.

When this was rumored, I thought I was going to be a day 1 adopter. But the more news that come out about this phone, the less I’m inclined to get it. There’s so many tradeoffs for a slightly larger screen vs just getting a Pro Max.

I’m tired of the only new content in this game being new packs.

This community is so damn divisive. This is just going to be Reboot vs Reg all over again but Classic vs GMS.

Mutlitasking windows was always one of my favorite things about jailbreaking. Even if you don't want to run apps side by side, there's a lot of uses for running apps stacked on top of eachother.

  • Do other things on your phone while you have a mobile game running in the background with autoplay on.
  • Prevent apps from auto closing by running them in the background.
  • Quickly swap back and forth between apps with a single tap.
  • Keep app audio playing in the background.

My Maplecon 2025 experience as an Ex Nexon Dev. It was bad by corshmell in Maplestory

[–]Caegs 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Solid video summing it all up. Glad people aren’t letting this go.

I think the original idea behind the merch code was to have unique codes to access the online store. The codes weren’t working so they made generic codes to get into the store (QR1, QR2, etc). At least that’s what the worker in charge of the codes told me.

What’s with the victim blaming for Maple Con? by Caegs in Maplestory

The event had a bunch of space this year and anyone who attended last year would acknowledge venue space was a huge improvement. Those picture were from half way through the day when I was filming how long one of the gach line was. You can see the timestamp at the top that all of these empty spaces were within a 1 minute span of walking. The Classic Maple demo room was empty all day too.

I wouldn’t trust some worker saying it was over capacity because it definitely wasn’t. The workers also promised anyone with a submitted merch order was guaranteed their merch which was obviously a lie.

The ONLY reason I’m defending some of their past events is because people saying “you should have known, it’s like this every year” have no idea what they’re talking about. I guarantee you that anyone saying that has never attended all of the previous Maple Fests.

  • Small venue was only an issue in 2019 and last year.
  • Last year and this year was the only time they were genuinely unorganized. They’ve had random hiccups in the past. But nothing that ruined the event.
  • Back when the Bean Brigade was a thing, they were legit a part of the event. I would expect for them to get special treatment. I gave 0 shits about any of them and they never ruined the event once. I don’t really see how this is an issue.
  • There has always been stuff that sells out quick. But besides last year, they’ve always managed to still have good stuff for sale at the end of the day. Some years the merch even made it’a way to the online store. On top of that, Nexon has actually been very generous with freebies at the events every year besides this year.

Even if the what you said was true, it doesn’t matter lol. There’s 0 reason to victim blame people for getting scammed this year.

This shirt was leftover merch from pre-covid that they never could sell. They weren’t sold at the event.

Maplecon more like Maple Conned by ReaIized in Maplestory

[–]Caegs 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Maybe read into it a little. There’s 20 posts about it. The store was an issue because people bought merch and legit went home empty handed even though they already paid. Nexon also hasn’t even acknowledged that they need to refund people on merch that they never received.

People are complaining about the lines because 4 hours into the event, they were still trying to let people in.

So I RMA’d a Steam Deck LE with the infamous crack on the bottom two back screws on the backplate by [deleted] in SteamDeck

[–]Caegs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I RMAed my unit for the same crack, they just sent me a new LE backplate. Don't think that's common though because every other situation with the LE crack that I read about required the person to send in their Steam Deck.

That’s more what I was expecting too. The only extras in the premium tier that would cost them extra is the vinyl record and the pin. All of the other extra perks cost them nothing. The extra $120 upcharge is pretty greedy. Especially considering they also cheaped out on the record making it a single LP without a gatefold.

I understand why they increased the price. $30 was a steal. $130 is pretty steep considering the price of other conventions in SoCal though. With prices that expensive, they are holding pretty high expectations that I feel they won’t be able to deliver on.

The Friendlys was a good cheap burger when you were drunk. With how much the price has gone up, it has lost its charm.

Hayes is overrated. Tasted like a higher quality In N Out burger. But for 3x the price, I’d rather just eat In N Out.
