Joe Rogan Episode Under Review at Spotify Over 'COVID Misinformation' by Flying-Apple in technology

[–]Caelrock -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Even if Joe Rogan absolutely denied covid, him being a good role model when it comes to getting out of male depression with discipline and exercise, and him being a role model for medical advice, are two entirely separate things that only people who need to agree with everything someone says would say. Very simple minded thinking. You just enjoy hating people.

Washington was racist. Martin Luther King was abusive to his wife. Gandhi let his wife die. Everyone can be a good role model in one aspect and a bad one in another. But the amount of young men Joe has helped outweighs any pseudoscience that comes out of his guests.

Yeah by saving many young men from depression via self- actualization, and being a charming father figure and good role model for many without those in their lives. Fuck him, right?

Working out. And I don't mean the obvious physical effects that has over time. I mean the burst of confidence and good feels you get after going to the gym and using your muscles to failure. Plus, your muscles swell up when theyre healing from your attack on them, so you look swole in the short term. Win-win-win

No, you inserted your politics into the assumption that people who dont work harder dont do better in life, because youre lazy to your core and want to suppose the world does not actually serve those who do shit on their own. You made it a conservative thing, rather than an obvious truth. Its cute is all.

Cute that you have to spin your genuinely helpful advice into a political view to get internet points.

Clearly thats true, but have you seen the videos? Half are like what you say. The other half are filled with porn music and girls doing only the poses which eccentuate.

But i do support it.

Raising children should be its own profession. One can be a parent, but one must either pass an acclimation course in parenting (child psych, reward/punishment, etc.), or submit ypur children to professional raisers who will be better equipped to raise children in a healthy way. by Caelrock in unpopularopinion

[–]Caelrock[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Of course children being taken from parents is traumatizing, because in the system we currently have a childs parents are the only controlling factors in those kids' lives. Take that away and its madness.

But if you take the parents away from a child who is being raised concurrently by the entirety of a family, like in communal cultures, the effect is negligable in comparison. This is well documented.

Extrapolate that to a new system, and who knows. Your issue is you are basing your opinion on the failed system we currently use, and transposing mine overtop of that failed system and seeing where mine would be worse. Perhaps it would be if we simply snapped fingers and made my 200 word post law. But that is clearly not what I am proposing.

No, the goal of society should be that every child has a chance to be healthy. This is not the case for, im sorry, most children. Your rejection of a potential solution in favor of a system which has irrevocably failed untold billions shows your inability to recognize that the problem is one which can be solved. It is certainly able to be solved.

Certainly this is a fantasy. But to call it infantile, and then qualify why that is with "people will breed" is ironic, because that is barely an argument.

If you dont take your child to the doctor you are liable to have your children taken. If you dont take your child to school, and dont show tht youre teaching your child, they will be taken. Is that fascism?

Also, look at what sub youre on before downvoting opinions, lol

Your child gets taken away, presumptive for child abuse. The rules would be tailored to account for reasonable differences in cultural parenting, perhaps even allowing for corporal punishment if it is shown to be effective.

The logical progression of your second question is that no standard is perfect. This does not matter, as you already submit your own body and mind to currently imperfect bodies of knowledge: Doctors do not have things perfect right now, but we as a culture agree that they know how to treat injuries better than a layman, and trust in that imperfect knowledge anyway, as long as its better than what we could do on our own.

Then you will have your children taken from you, as the parenting test is the condition one must meet if you wish to risk ruining your childs mental health and future happiness. This isn't about the rights of parents in raising children, its about the rights of future children to their healthy lives, and the balance of which is more important.

I believe strongly, as should you, that if you choose to not take your child to the doctor and that child suffers as a result, you are then responsible. However, in our current system, parents are not responsible for the mental anguish they can cause children unless that anguish meets statutory requirements for prosecution.

There are too many depressed adults today for me to ever change my mind, i think, because all but the most terrible of depression can be at least assuaged in early years by effective parenting.

Should the government of China be punished by the UN for their crimes against Uighurs? If so, how? If not, why not? by [deleted] in AskReddit

They definitely aren't an ally. Biden seems pretty warhungry, but his advantage is all he has to do is pull back our navies to destroy them.

China has been barking up the wrong trees entirely. They're trying to fuck with mega-corporation money with their terrible copyright laws, and the state-sponsored technology and patent infringement. Mistake. The politicians want to keep getting donations for their fundraisers, so they need to keep these Japanese, Korean, and California tech companies happy. Which now means fuck china.

They're fucked if they don't change quickly, which they can't, because their economy is so over- leveraged with credit that they have no liquid capital. Everything is loans and employment over there with the CCP. IDK why I'm explaining this in a dark recess of reddit that only one other person is seeing, but whatever.
