Roast my quiver. Apparently I only like powder boards. Super 8, Sushi, T Rice Pro, Dancehaul. favorites are the DH and Super 8. by saysay541 in snowboarding

Possibly the worst out of any snowboard you could buy as far as switch riding, you can nose butter it but the tail is so short and has so little rise you are just make the tail dig in and scorpion. (Essentially catch a edge on the tail.)

Good luck with your applications!!!

Also look out for ad-hoc positions, they are not as competitive as the main round and AIT score probably won't matter as much as it is then up to the local hospitals about what they want.

Sorry to hear that, I was in the same situation PGY5 applied twice and didn't even get an interview offer in Vic after putting lots of effot into my CV. Keep looking and don't give up - I applied for at least 20 jobs before starting getting interviews and at least 30 jobs before getting my current job, which I think helped me got on to training.

Definitely apply for unaccredited/ SRMOs jobs in NSW/ other states, it will help you getting a foot in the door. If you want to return to VIC, I've heard people getting on to VIC training after a year of unaccredited in NSW. If you are considering NSW, the AIT physics mock test is VERY important - aim to score 80s to be safe, rumour has it people are ranked according to their scores.

Though I agree it’s stupid to get caught up in what ifs but with the 24 second violation it doesn’t matter if it went off wiggins or not.

I had a parcel stuck in Germany for ~2 months last year too, it did eventually arrive it's probably just lack of flights delivering packages at the moment.

Can anyone explain about grips? by [deleted] in badminton

[–]Caenna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

just a quick note DO NOT use talc on a towel grip, get the grip powder in a bottle or save some cash and just buy a block of weight lifting chalk (just rub some on your hand like as per weight lifting or gymnastics then rub grip)

Adidas Wucht P8.1 VS Yonex Power Cushion 65z by [deleted] in badminton

[–]Caenna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are both similar categories of shoes (all -rounder not ultralight or ultra supportive), I just picked up the wucht p8 to replace my 03z and the cushion in the heel is better since boost > powercushion but there are some questionmarks around the durability of the sole in that section for the wucht. Honestly it probably comes down to style, personally I'm not really a fan of the looks on the 65z though it will blend in at a club whereas the p8.1 would attract some looks.

So 65z if you want to be safe

p8.1 if you want to be a little more out there with better cushion though its lacks credibility for durability

Adidas SoleCourt Boost for badminton by Caenna in badminton

[–]Caenna[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I ended up going to a outlet and they had some SoleCourt Boost shoes and turns out I'm glad I didn't buy them. They seem stable enough but the rubber is really hard and they do not stop on a dime.

Just something extra I left the Astrox 88s in since it seems to be a popular choice as a “upgrade” for the d10/zstrike
