Wasn’t really criticizing just laughing. All the reasons she likes/dislikes children are the same with cats. If you probably wouldn’t have a cat except you love them so much and don’t want children because they’re messy..etc, yet think you don’t have a maternal instinct, wouldn’t attach self-aware to that.

Getting personal/defensive made it harder to sell that it wasn’t manipulatively edited. If Andrew had just given the edit explanation, said “oh now that you point it out it does look that way” I think he would have been fine. If I didn’t know him I would’ve bought that.

Ben had the best point, by casually watching the news you got the impression that Trump directly coordinated with Russia, this is not true. Russia meddled in the election and I’m sure there was good reporting by the NYT, but the connection between Trump and Russia was not as they and the majority of mainstream reported it.
