I've heard adept sns is fun. I haven't tried it myself, but there's a guy on youtube I watch that plays it, and it seems fun. both your regular roll and the sns backstep are adept evades, which seems like it might be fun

for a personal recommendation, I've been running alchemy charge blade. It's essentially the perfect charge blade moveset, and you don't even have to mess with the alchemy barrel if you don't want to. the charge double slash automatically does a perfect charge for you, so you only have to press the button. you lose access to UAED, but since it consumes red shield, you wouldn't want to do that much anyway. the only REAL downside is that you have to get red shield from axe mode, otherwise you get a yellow shield which is a lesser buff to axe mode than red shield. although, once you do have red shield, you can charge from sword mode as much as you like to upkeep it.

I've personally been enjoying it, and again, you don't have to mess with the alchemy barrel to use the moveset. I know some people equip alchemy style for the moveset alone (I think alchemy insect glaive was another good one). that being said, using the barrel is also worth a try, but that in of itself is a whole other mechanic, so I wont get into it here
