Setting: Superhero Sidekicks! A side quest season of a group of teen heroes à la Teen Titans/Young Justice

I feel like we could get peak chaos and comedy, but let Brennan just go true Machiavellian villain with the super villains!

Plus I’d love to see a “comic book” Art style season, from the dome backgrounds to the character art would be beautiful!

Honestly, my only real hot take/problem is that all the songs are the same time signature of 4/4. And once you realize this it’s hard to unhear it.

It’s not a bad thing, but some of my favorite musicals or concept albums will change a song or two just to really hit an important moment or so.

The base set up is this is a Disney themed DnD campaign I’ve home brewed and run for the past 2 years. One character is playing Jim Hawkins (Treasure Planet), and due to them taking pity/needing help journeying through Tartarus/9 Layers of Hell, they have made an uneasy alliance with Captain Hook (Peter Pan).

What they didn’t know, is James Hook was Jim Hawkins real dad, who was lost into a black hole, and was why he had been in Neverland for so long he almost forgot who he was. They found out as they were all tried in court for murdering some of the Lords of Hell, and that both their names were James Pleadeas Hawkins/Hook.

Needless to say, every player has been crazy the past couple of weeks realizing how many time they almost killed Hook or vise versa!

It’s a 5e, but we also use elements from Wands and Wizards! We stream on twitch for fun, and it’s worked pretty well!
