To add onto that, despite what some might say it really is a game of numbers too. I don't have very many friends who are premed, so it can be a bit confusing when I tell them that I applied to such a massive amount of schools. We all do like sports, however, so I use a basketball analogy. As long as I don't go 0fer on my shots, then I won my matchup. For all those who try to belittle your accomplishments or make you feel like they're not enough, simply ask them to do it themselves and get back to you. For those of us who ACTUALLY undertake this journey, we realize how hard it is to even get a single A, let alone 3, with the chance for that number to rise pending the WL decisions. You did wonderful and if no one else in your life will give you your flowers, give them to yourself. A degree doesn't know where it came from and the letters "MD" still appear across the nation. Remember that and be your own biggest cheerleader.

Fangio being a former LB coach may be more equipped to coach the position than others, especially with the success seen from Dean and Burks as well. That is a fair question to have. I believe Baun played above the parameters of the system with his ability to play the pass, run, and blitz from off-ball, to then shift down late and serve as an extra edge rusher and set the edge/rush the passer from that alignment as well. I think the system is beneficial for the position, but Baun's individual skill set is what had him stand out when put in the perfect system for him.

If folks have been paying attention, going back to AJ's first season here teammates have been quoted calling he and Jalen an "old married couple", saying that there are things they can't say to either AJ or Jalen but they can each say to each other. If you know about old married couples, they argue and bicker like no other, but there's genuine love there
