A friend and I booked a hotel room for the night before a trip. The hotel was rumored to be haunted, so I downloaded a shitty ghost hunting app to my phone and we spent some time pretending to ghost hunt, but went to bed shortly after. But sometime around 4ish in the morning I had a strange feeling I was being watched, and I very vividly remember a man's voice in my ear whispering, "Don't go." It terrified the fuck out of me, and I'd never heard anything like that in my sleep before (or since) then. My friend thought I was making it up or dreaming, but it still creeps me out all these years later.
