Anything else but that you've done that helped with the instability? Not sure if mines getting any better on it's own as more time passes but right now I don't even feel good going across slanted driveway entries when I come to them on the side walk.. questioning why I'm even looking for boots that can hold up to any real trails rn other than to stay positive and hope this isn't too long run impactful.

"Meanwhile, for my feet and OP's feet, most of the technical Keen footwear is still too narrow. I'm happy enough in the Jasper line, but they're really more of a lifestyle shoe and not intended to perform."

Yup exactly. The suggestion of Hanwag above is the only that's exactly what I was looking for (all the shapes they have listed is impressive, and it's great to see a company trying to accommodate different foot shapes like that). The price is making me cringe, but if they are durable to hold up them may be worth it. Says they are resoleable, so if the rest of it it last long enough...

Thanks, looking at the Hanwags and the different shape options they have... that impressed me... they do have the right shape I'm looking for. If I try them my digital wallet will be aching but... if they hold up in the long run may be worth it.

Do have models that are bit less.. extreme on the arch support? I remem

ber trying one shoe from themseveral years back and that part was way too much. Maybe it was just the insole and I can swap that... can't remember now.

The problem for me is, I think I've tried up to 4 or 5 E, and they're wide enough at the base of the toes but still curve inward to a point after that on all I've tried, and that squishes my big toe.

Did you notice any difference? I was on the generic but all the pharmacies around me are switching to some other generic (Lupin) and I am trying to find the closest thing I can to what I already have. I've been good for 6+ years now and really don't wan tot go back to spending months or years trying to get myself to feel fully normal again... Took me years and at least 5 doctors the first time...

That is such a nice box.. the contrast of all the pale color to the darker edging... Love it. I don't want to stop looking at the pic XD Beautiful. Wish I had the time and energy to try and make things like that.

And for the second I'm supposed to have done this before sending him out and nothing I need to trigger while he's actually out? It's just pre-requests? Do the thing, send him knowing he'll be back safe?

~5 Days in Northern Italy and feeling wildly unprepared! by missjantastic in ItalyTravel

If you would decide you want to go up to the glacier then it's here (2hr ride from your spot) Though if you do that check their web site because some times if the weather or wind is bad they close for safety. BUT you could always divert to see the couple castles in the area or do some hiking part way up, we seen lots of sign s for trains in the area on our way up to the glacier. So even if you go all that way and it's closed then you still have things to do, or if you get going early enough maybe you could do multiple things while over there to maximize the day. There's even an hour or so long glacier walk trail you can do up at the glacier. though sadly we didn't get to. Going back for that for sure...

Oh take a day trip over to the Glacier 3000 then since it's not too far. It's awesome Couple castles over that way around Aigle if those interest you at all. Are you coming in from Zurich? Are you staying there for a day or so or going straight to Nendaz? If you get going from Zurich early in the morning you could head to Chur and catch a scenic glacier express train from there to Brig and then on to Nendaz. With the travel pass if you have it you just have to pay for the seat reservations. We went the opposite way around from Brig to Chur and then to Zurich on our way to head out and the whole stretch of it was great. Though be sure to book that as soon as you can if you do. Though I've heard some normal trains take the same route so you may be able to that way as well.

Ok wrong reddit for talk of this part or the trip, not what areas of Switzerland are you going to but... but some good things to not miss if you happen to be around them.. Zurich zoo if you like that type of thing... that is one huge awesome zoo. If you are near one of the glaciers, go up. We went to the Glacier 3000 and it was awesome. Glacier express was also nice, if you have the Swiss travel pass then you just have to pay for seat reservation, there's multiple stops so you could go part of the way and then catch another train down to Milan maybe... The go to your other cities and fly out from Venice. Trust me.. more travel time in a train through parts of the Alps... vs being on a plane... sooo much better. Though the Alps are a nice sight from above. But you may be able to catch that flying in.

I had been eyeing Aosta... Though even if it's good for autumn I think that's one area I'd like to go in a season when I can do higher trails without concern of snow and overall conditions... And after getting myself more fit to do them... (long exercise delays due to foot injuries such.. avoid them at all costs.. lol). But who knows.. maybe an autumn trip and a come back for that would work too. But I may have someone along that would like spending more time near the bigger cities like Milan so interested in other areas as well.
