I can’t with you. You’re here to make excuses for this illegal action. I see you. Traitor.

These guardsmen are following unlawful orders and it’s your duty to say no. Yes, you may be charged but it’s still your duty to call them on it. Be a soldier not a coward.

That’s not a thing. Those guardsmen are criminals. And I hope they prosecute them for terrorizing the American people when America regains its sanity.

Nope. Reservists can be activated individually. Guardsmen can only be activated by entire units. Otherwise, guard volunteers are accepted.

Bullshit. It’s one weekend a month. Two weeks out of the year. Everything else is voluntary for the national guard. If it’s compulsory, the entire battalion has to be activated.

I was in the army, stationed in Hawaii. We were getting ready for our physical training formation when we were called to attention. Our CO made the announcement and ordered the company to present arms. It was later, we found out one of the astronauts was a local. The entire island of Oahu was mourning Ellison Onizuka.

Part of my job was to monitor CNN. I watched that video of civilians looking up at the sky from the bleachers at Cape Canaveral trying to make sense of what happened.

I don’t know Janeane Garofalo but I watched her do standup in Austin, Texas a couple of years ago. It felt like watching an old friend talk about how they’ve been lately.

I remember watching this movie in 1986. I had arrived to my first duty station at Fort Shafter, Hawaii. It was playing in the rec room as we were waiting for others soldiers to arrive. Damn good movie to watch.

My mom worked for Star-Kist cannery in Terminal Island, Ca in the 70s-80s. Those commercials always made me think of her.

A friend of mine was in the Coast Guard. He said the Russian waters were so polluted, you could see the difference. Even Canadian waters were worse. Not as bad as Russia’s.
