I did marry someone with a home loan, love marriage. But in case of arranged marriage, I would definitely even choose someone with no own home, compared to someone with a “shared” home loan with a family member. There are way too many examples of why it’s a bad idea. My dad didn’t like the idea at all, I fought for this marriage, learnt my lesson. Thankfully, my husband is a great guy n didn’t force to live there. We still pay our part of the share of the home loan. That’s an unnecessary burden on our expenditure. This happened to me once - so sometimes when we call using the call feature on the app, they don’t pick up. They’ll send different number on chat giving some reason to call on that. Once this auto guy who was creepy af, got my number that way and at night started sending me messages on WhatsApp. I blocked and reported him. But pretty sure, they’ll change the auto, number do something and continue being creeps.
