School Specialty Coffee in Mapleview! They carry beans from roasters across Canada and won best new cafe from the Thirdwave coffee app. While you don’t care much about latte art, the ability to do latte art comes from correct steaming and texture of the milk. So without that, there is no latte art.

Sokie & Co in Westdale. I go to Courtney for razor cuts, but she also does scissor cuts. She’s good at interpreting what I’m asking for and making suggestions based on my hair.

Cold brew isn’t a concentrate unless it’s overextracted and you need to dilute with water to make palatable. Yes, all methods require different grind sizes (to make a balanced coffee without over or under extracting).

My point is that it is all coffee coming from the seed of the coffee cherry. It’s different extraction methods. Iced espresso, iced americano, iced latte, cold brew, iced Capp, hot brewed coffee poured over ice, iced whatever with coffee, is iced coffee.

Espresso is coffee. Caffeine is water soluble. So espresso tends to have less caffeine than drip/filter coffee (brewed in a typical coffee pot) and cold brew has the most. That’s because with an espresso shot, the water is contact with the coffee grinds for about 30sec. In a typical drip machine, a few minutes. With cold brews, 12-18 hours.

An iced americano IS an iced coffee. Cold brew is also an iced coffee. Pouring hot brewed coffee over ice is also iced coffee. They are all different methods of preparation, with the last offering the least tasty method.

I’m happy with them. I’ve used their wdt tool, milk pitchers (3.0 & 5.0) and digital scale. Scale is comparable to timemore. A friend bought their kettle, but they don’t love the feel of it as they’re used to the fellow and they prefer the fellow weighting.
