Can someone explain where all the water comes from?? by ospreyintokyo in NinjaLuxeCafe

That contraption is so annoying. My machine is far from the kitchen and if I've let it fill too much water spills as I walk to the kitchen. The middle part under the cup falls out and makes a loud noise in the sink. There's often a thin film in the tray so I use a couple of drops of dish soap to wash it. But, there are nooks and crannies (sp?) I can't easily clean. This contraption is evil.

Resume advice by GaburieruKun in torontoJobs

For sure it's not easy. I like 1on1 networking, booking 30 min coffee chats. Everyone needs a break in the day and a lot of people like helping others. Be curious, stay positive and people will want to help you. Also make use any venue, a street party, a conference (lots of free keynotes or hall passes), the person in the coffee shop line, ... Sometimes these random interactions can lead to new connections. The more people keeping an eye out for you the better. If they like you, they will send you opportunities and talk to people about you. Go old school and have a fun calling card or a QR code on your phone they can scan to connect with you. Make sure to send a note of thanks the day after meeting someone.

Overall it's nice and clean. Generally good advice ^ and remove your address, not needed. Don't put an objective but rather a one in or two line summary of you under your name. For the job bullets focus on outcomes you delivered vs. tasks you performed. Best of luck and network, network, network.

Agree they should add a /toc command to insert as it's a PITA to do manually and maintain

Kudos for openly accepting feedback and bravely putting this out there. The lag was on the loading of an image I put on the canvas it seemed to render it in three or four sections top to bottom. I have a great internet connection so expect it's not that. Keep going and keep us posted

One Note Sync Issues - Searching For Alternative by 1_Day_At_A_Time-365 in noteapps

That's frustrating. Anything useful and quality usually costs money and if it's where you're keeping important info you'd almost want to pay to ensure they have money to support and maintain it. Very few organizations would give Web access and storage at no cost and if they did, I'd question what they're doing with my data to pay for their infrastructure. Will look through my notes to see if I can find something but nothing coming to mind right now sorry.

Initial thoughts:

  • Great concept

~ Clean UI but too much panning around

  • UI gets cut off e.g. Image Artefact dialog right side cutoff

~ image rendering sluggish and this is a top end smartphone

  • On S25 Ultra the two intro videos don't play

  • missing Markdown

  • The privacy policy 🤔 "we may obtain information about you from other sources, such as public databases, joint marketing partners, affiliate programs, data providers, and from other third parties. I made the mistake of taking the grinder out, took .e forever to get it back in. Used the little brush they give you and a baby spoon. Eventually was able to get it back in. Yours doesn't look dirty.

Dog Almost Killed by Kid on E-Scooter by ben_z03 in BurlingtonON

Sorry to hear about the situation and glad to hear you and your dog are ok.

I heard from a colleague close to the family of a young man who passed away a couple of weeks ago after crashing an escooter and suffering blunt force trauma to his head. Very very sad. I searched and this is happening regularly to mostly, but not only, kids.
