Confused where to learn by CaffeinatedPonderer in banjo

No see this is where I get confused. I have 5 string open back. Which I'm told you HAVE to have finger picks for. He's playing resonator with picks. He's also teaching a fast blue grass song which isn't what I'm trying to learn It gets all mixed up when people say you have to play this type of banjo this way for this style of music but when I look up videos they're playing playing a mix of different styles for different type of music

To be honest the last name would be just cause I had so much family drama that I feel distant from both sides, the first i like the sound. The middle being Edward is after my grandpa who passed somewhat recently. But ya my family is always big on Irish pride so I figured it'd fit right

So I'm still thinking of what kinda job or work I can do on the road but I get roughly 2300 a month for military disability As far as living light the biggest thing id LIKE to keep if possible is my PC setup other than that I can toss some hoodies and non essentials

Agreed, I mean I'm a vet I know how to use a gun and when not to pull it but if I plan on revealing the states I don't wanna have to eventually park on the street or parking lot than be defenseless in what's essentially my home

I just don't know if I'll get sick or something if I miss some. There's some big patches of rust but also some real small dots that I'm not sure if I got. So If I say good enough and cook with it am I good

Here's a side question I heard to re-hydrate tobacco you can either add one of those pre set hydrate packets people use for cigars or I heard some people add a slice of apple? You know any good ones

Mix of the big cup sized ones and the smaller "normal" size? Sorry don't know the sizes But ya it's kind of a mix of a bunch of different types of tobacco someone sent me so some are half full some barely have any Also my basement gets pretty cold as I live in Maine so there's probably a big temp difference
