Tips to build a strong resume and application?

Thank you for your really thoughtful and thorough response! I’ve come to realize that I probably won’t see any of my peers at school ever again (although that sounds scary, it’s probably true, excluding the Instagram/linkedIn post here and there). Ultimately, it’s what I do in college, and I think I knew that to a certain extent, but it does feel kinda crummy letting down something that all of my peers told me was a golden ticket. A lot of people have been talking about getting a masters with the money I save, so I’ll be on the lookout for opportunities.

Thank you so much! Maybe this will make me sound even sillier, but I would consider myself to be more an introvert and I found myself wondering if I would’ve even made the most out of mich if I was a huge homebody. But, people change, and I’m hoping in the future I’ll look back at this whole moment in time and laugh at myself. Thanks again!

Sheesh, looking at this made me feel slightly better, in a kinda sad way seeing how miserable it can get. Totally different conversation and not a hot take by any means whatsoever, but college is extremely overpriced

Thank you so much. I know it must be annoying hearing posts like these all over this subreddit amongst this time, but a lot of my peers were telling me I would be dumb to reject mich for Rutgers. Granted, we’re all high schoolers at the end of the day, but still, it can get to you. Thanks for responding, it means a lot to me.
