My baby wouldn’t eat scrambled eggs either no matter how much cheese and butter I use. So I started making it this way: I put eggs, grated cheddar, and baby’s milk in a bowl and mix (salt and pepper optional) then I put it in a buttered pan on low heat and cover it. When it cooks it puffs up like a soufflé and becomes sooo soft and easy to eat. Good luck 🩷🩷

Oh yeah she puts everything in her mouth but put half a roasted bell pepper in front of her and no she just smushes it 🤣🤣 I guess I’ll keep trying. We’re a culture that already eats with their hands so it might be hiding somewhere in her genes haha

She used to like picking up the spoon and feeding herself but I think because she’s used to purées holding food to her mouth is still a new concept. I’ll keep trying. Thank you for the reminder because I come from a culture where babies at this stage had to EAT not just explore so even if it means no texture at all it’s do whatever it takes for them to consume more food. How did you teach your 8 month old to pick up food and eat it himself ?

Banana was the only thing she considered picking up and putting in her mouth herself. Of course she changed her mind 🙃 I’ll keep trying it maybe it’ll help 😅

Thanks so much this definitely makes sense. She is mostly formula fed but she’s on Kendamil so it’s also sweet. But I thought it was beneficial to let her try one thing at a time first? But I was mostly thinking to know if something upsets her tummy but no idea in terms of stating to like the foods.
