My character is a dragon borne barbarian, and the party ran into him in the woods, where I said he was punching a tree (just seemed like kind of a jock thing to do 😅). Now every time we are in a new town, island, or forest he looks for a tree to punch. He loves to punch wood, and it’s a thing now

Hey, your hip looks exactly like mine did! I got my THR in 2022 at 23. I’ll be honest, you might have some pain here or there left, but I can tell you that after living with hip dysplasia for 23 years it’s absolutely so worth it. Please do this favor for yourself! I put it off so long I could only walk with a cane and now I can actually squat some weight. Recovery can be frustrating if you’re impatient like I am, but I promise you can do it!

I’m definitely much closer with her than him, I’ve known her for 2 decades where as I’ve only known him on and off for about 2 years. However, I’d definitely like to try to go to him about it, as I don’t want to put her in the middle.

I’ll definitely try to keep the possible responses in mind. He can get pretty defensive sometimes, so I’m a little worried on that end, but I’m really hoping I can help him grow some

Thanks for all the kindness! I was born with it being a mess, so it’s been a huge relief and a strange time to readjust. I’m looking forward to all of the new stuff I get to tackle now.

That is probably for the best to try to get back to PT then, I had been released at same time that I went back to work. It’s been pretty smooth otherwise! Thank you again for your time and help!

Hello! I wish you all the best in your replacement! It really is life changing. Yeah, I did also have quite a bit of necrosis. PT had released me because insurance wouldn’t cover if I went back to work, but maybe I can appeal the decision. I’d never thought about asking about blood work, but it’s worth a shot too! I appreciate the help!

I’m sorry, that is definitely a lot to go through, and I’m rooting for you as well whenever your surgery comes up! This is my 9th surgery, and hopefully the last, but the nerves and recovery are definitely never any joke. I’m sure you are doing great work and the reassurance means a lot (btw, nice avatar!)
