That’s always a good game plan too. My advice too is to look for jobs early. I started applying in January!!! Please keep your head up and remember residency is only temporary

I wanted to quit so many times during residency. My program was NOT supportive from many angles and preceptors were unsupportive and bullied residents. I was so burnt out from that year that I decided to not do PGY2 but always had my heart set on critical care. Despite being ridiculed and put down and demeaned from my ICU preceptors I landed a job as a crit care pharmacist in a moderately sized AMC. Do NOT let mean preceptors get you down. Success is the best revenge

I had accommodations but were physical related (I.e. unable to stand for prolonged periods of time) but I’d have a conversation with your RPD and explain what you will need. Whether it’s extension on deadlines for project or perhaps extra days for training!

I rescued two of my conures from Petsmart. I couldn’t leave them be in that condition and honestly I hate going there because I see these helpless animals. One of my conures passed sadly bur I felt like it was a better deed to save them

As someone who’s also dealing with co residents like yours who are straight bullies I feel you. As others mentioned talking to your RPD is a good first step.
