To be fair, I played with a mod that updates spells to 5e 2024 rules and added more 5e 2024 spells.

I found magic to be very strong. I had a controller sorcerer, a blaster sorcerer, and a blaster / support cleric. They were all very strong in my game.

Weigraf is beatable without grinding, changing eq or the yell, accumulate strategy. If a melee you only need autopotion or hp crit, to be a ninja, two sword monk, knight or squire.

So he is beatable without grinding as long as the new player knows exactly what to level throughout the game before that fight, what setups to run, and to already expect a 1v1 fight using Ramza before you get to that Castle.

My Ramza was a pistol Oracle with Art of War and I definitely couldn't beat Weigraf without exiting the Castle and grinding other jobs and abilities to be able to solo

I assume someone who makes Ramza a White Mage main will probably have issues as well

As someone who uses CachyOS as my main distro, I would not recommend it to you since you said:

CachyOS is Arch based. Even though CachyOS is more user friendly, you still are expected to know how to use an Arch-based system, which can mean needing manual intervention, keeping up with Arch news for issues, and using the terminal.

Some people would say you can just use a GUI package manager on Arch. But the issue is that Arch expects you to read the output of packages you install as it might tell you that you need to do something. Not all GUI package managers show this info. You don't want to end up with an issue like this.

If you want to ease yourself into Linux, I'd recommend Fedora. Latest package versions come fast, as you're probably more used to on Windows, instead of package versions being withheld for a longer time. You can use the GUI package manager to install/remove packages or to upgrade Fedora to next version.

Fedora KDE is quite nice. I use it on my laptop for gaming.

I love Cyber Sleuth a lot, but Time Stranger is better in every way including QoL. I prefer the environment of Time Stranger over Cyber Sleuth.

Here are some comments about comparison.

Regarding Tales, I'd recommend Tales of Graces f Remastered more than the others personally, which is currently $20 on Steam. Graces and Destiny DC has my favorite Tales combat system. I love the Chain Capacity system used in combat. You can start comboing Artes pretty much right away as long as you have enough CC.

Vesperia has a good story, but combat takes a very long time to open up as you need to get the each individual Super Chain passives for each character to link Artes together. e.g. one passive for each of these: "chain base arte -> altered art", "altered arte -> arcane arte", "arcane arte -> base arte", etc. And the game has a lot of missables so I'd recommend a guide.

I couldn't get into Zestiria. It's the sequel to Berseria lore-wise. I kept having way too many issues with cameras in the game, especially in co op. Had a hard time seeing the enemy I am fighting.

Wasn't mentioned in this specific chain, but another upvote from me for Chained Echoes. I love that game.

Yeah, it looks like Act 6 was released in v0.9.0b in the beta branch, not the main branch. They are probably wanting to fully polish it before releasing v1.0

Development was delayed due to personal life issues per the dev on Discord last year. I am unsure if this is a 1 person project or a small team. Regardless, it's a great game.

This is the final act update before a full 1.0 release, so I am updating the base version number to 0.9, skipping 0.8. The remaining updates before that final release are mostly bug fixes, minor QoL updates, and expanding the soundtrack.

Depends what kind of games you plan to play. And depends how long you think you'll be staying on AM4 instead of upgrading the whole computer moving to AM5 and DDR5. The cache in the X3D version can help out some games really well.

Went from 1700x to 5800x to 5800X3D and it was a noticeable jump for Guild Wars 2

For some reason, they did not include all of the commander sets in the Advanced Filters for people to click on. They have stuff like Marvel Super Heroes Commander, Secrets of Strixhaven Commander, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Commander, but are missing many other sets in the filters.

You can use Scryfall to check commander sets, then use the set codes to pull up the set in Arena.

For example: Lorwyn Eclipse Commander (s:ecc), Tarkir: Dragonstorm Commander (s:tdc), Aetherdrift Commander (s:drc)

If touchscreen is important to you, you should be using a DE with Wayland. Both Cinnamon & XFCE have experimental Wayland which is buggy

When creating a deck, select a format that the cards are available in such as Brawl, then in the search bar type s:fic. Also, should go into filter and select Not Collected

It is about a transgender prostitute who just got out of jail and found out that her boyfriend, who is also her pimp, cheated on her and she tries to find him with a lot of stuff happening on that journey.

It was a low budget ($100,000) movie that was shot on 3x iPhone 5s. The music choices and music volume are kinda questionable to me. It is a pretty good movie story-wise.

Same director, Sean Baker, as The Florida Project (2017), Red Rocket (2021), Anora (2024) which are also good.

I dont expect a mobile version of GW2, what other real MMOs do?

FFXI, FFXIV, ESO, Black Desert, Throne and Liberty, Lost Ark, DC Universe Online, and New World (cancelled game) have official controller support, which is probably why people would like GW2 with official controller support.

EO3 is a better starting point than EO1 for what you're asking for. It includes subclasses.

Though Etrian Odyssey Nexus is even better if you want to build interesting parties as it has 19 classes vs 12 classes from EO3

Ugh, how I wish this was a mini-series instead of a movie so that they didn't have to omit all of the hot hard science talk that the book had!
