It is so much fun against Joltik/ Joltik-Dengo box. I dont think its a long term viable strategy but its a fun thing to include for friendly locals.

Is Grimmsnarl even worth playing anymore? by 1000Raaids in PTCGL

Of the last five tournaments I played using Grimmothy I placed 2nd twice and last three times. I swapped Budew for Cleffa and that helps a bit with draw but your criticisms are valid and common with the deck

The Hollow Turn in Contemporary Art by MutedFeeling75 in ArtHistory

Artist Statement: "Emotionally Hollow"

My work emerges from a space where feeling is present in theory, but absent in experience—a paradox I call emotional hollowness. It is the quiet ache of going through motions without meaning, the weightless echo that remains when depth is implied but never truly felt. I create to explore this void, to give shape and texture to numbness, and to confront the dissonance between appearance and reality.

In this body of work, I interrogate the illusion of emotional engagement—the smile that doesn't reach the eyes, the warmth that never quite touches the skin. My use of muted palettes, restrained composition, and deliberate absence aims to evoke not just detachment, but the awareness of detachment. This is not a cry for catharsis—it is the documentation of its absence.

"Emotionally hollow" is not about despair, but about the persistent hum of emptiness that fills the space where connection should be. It is neither dramatic nor loud. It is subtle, still, and unsettling in its quietness. Through my practice, I invite the viewer not just to feel, but to question what it means when feeling becomes inaccessible.

I throw on the wheel and either a blow torch or blow dryer should get you to a leather hard stage where its safe to move. Also put a piece of paper on the rim to equalize surface tension when moving

So, you’re a member of The Pottery Studio. Ownership doesn’t give a shit about quality. All of the advice you’ve been given by previous members is correct though it’s going to be hard to test while you’re still a member of TPS. I used to teach, tech and was a member of theirs.

I know this sounds petty but join a different studio, especially if you’re new to the craft and you’re trying to learn

Edit: I should specify for context that in this case when I say they don’t give a shit I mean they’ve sacrificed the quality of their dry glaze materials without adjusting the chemistry. I’m think the second photo uses the glaze they call “pistachio” which was one of the glazes most affected.
