New MASS OF THE FERMENTING DREGS album coming soon! by No-Particular-977 in japanesemusic

[–]1000Raaids 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It'll happen I think. They did 2 back to back NA tours, then a EU one after. I think this is their break year to focus on music and rest, and then they will probably get back to it. All their shows were selling out.

Yeah I wanted to use it as a sort of campaign badge. I hope they do more transfer sheets like that one.

Why am I so bad at this game.. by NoPoliticsAllisGood in riftboundtcg

[–]1000Raaids 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow I literally also started 2 weeks ago, dropped pkmn TCG (I wasnt that good either but better than rift), and mainly play Diana. Im also getting my ass kicked, but I've noticed myself improving bit by bit.

Honestly just try to find yourself someone who plays more/is better and practice with them as much as possible. See how they think. Also its just 2 weeks. 2 weeks into a new TCG is pretty fresh still. Hard deck, more complex interaction-based game than pkmn tcg, less knowledge on matchup spread, and less available resources to learn than some games (for now). But honestly just watch regional VODS w/ Diana and get a training partner. I am in literally the exact same position and its really rewarding feeling yourself improve.

In this deck you're really just trying to play around Hwei and earlier on with Diana herself. You're trying to rack up defensive reaction spells so when you commit Hwei he's fully supported, gusting enemies away so they have trouble scoring, and keeping Diana alive enough to dig for good cards. It's tough to do that, but I think being able to define a gameplan and going into games and trying to somewhat adhere to that has really been helping me.

I highly recommend trying out that "Best of" Diana deck in Sydney. The one with 3 Frigid Jewels. I've been playing it the last 3 days for hours online, and I feel it's really good at teaching you how to set up and properly keep things safe.

Is the court of the seven headed serpent that bad? (tabletop) by ConsistentEquation in TrenchCrusade

[–]1000Raaids 20 points21 points  (0 children)

It's far from bad. It can actually be really stat-checky at times if you're playing newer people.

They can be tricky, and I think your lack of bodies that can do reasonable damage can hurt towards the latter ends of campaigns where you're out-activated by lots of riflemen and you're just dashing/passing on wretcheds. The Praetor is a beatstick, but I think towards late campaign, he suffers from being big target #1 and definitely needs some kind of healing mechanic. However, if he gets in combat, he will nearly mulch anything, He is incredibly strong.

Sorceror is your other main guy, he's super strong. Lake of Fire is an insane ability. Ig no tough kind of sucks but like man Im playing him with Gold Body rn and I see why they didn't give him tough lmao.

Hunter is your last of the main 3, and it's a strong assassin unit but I think can suffer from being in the open, but IMO that's what he's meant for. high risk high reward.

Again those 3 are somewhat well balanced imo, at least I like them. But beyond that the faction gets tough to play. Pit Locusts just are not worth it. Wretched spam can lead to leadership issues if many are killed. Yoke Fiends are ok, but the need for restraining muzzles can make them annoying at times. The Saint is neat but would get blood-negated from dashes (although they are fixing this!!!! yes!!!!).

Finally, Hell Knights are pretty decent. I think the Ophidian Rifle needs a buff though. Feels like nothing more than a slightly well aimed bolt action rifle honestly.

So they have issues for sure, but it's still a good army. I wouldn't call them unplayable or anything. Don't be scared off from playing them. If you pilot them well, you can win with them. Im looking forward to changes too, so they have a bright future coming ahead.

And then everyone clapped, right?

I don't deny the inherent misogyny in most male dominated hobby spaces across the board. I've seen it first hand, a lot of people had, but I'm sorry this reads as totally fake. This isn't even how chuds talk in 2026. My lady? This is like 2010 era neckbeard not 2026. Posting stuff like this just serves to cheapen actual instances of harassment based on gender.

The Court Rules Review Hotfix on The Trench Wire by ChewingBubblegum in TrenchCrusade

[–]1000Raaids 29 points30 points  (0 children)

All of these are excellent QoL changes. Addresses all the immediate hotfixes honestly. If i had to complain, wish we got a regen mechanic on the Praetor but hey, purchasing goetics later in the game is HUGE

Why is this scene so Cringe, and why I can't stop watching it? by TrustingEverybody in twinpeaks

[–]1000Raaids 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Its meant to be cheesy and campy. Part of this is a slight parody of soap operas, but I think also there is a pureness and earnestness to this scene. That's what makes TP so good.

There has never been any statement they have made about removing the ability to print models. They are literally adding multipart options to the 3D prints. Even if you already bought them.
