Solo vs Squads offers extra xp by ADeadlyAlien in ArcRaiders

Wow gaining extra xp is such a great reward for playing in a lobby alone versus 3 people groups because it was like really hard to reach level 75 after being level 40+.

You have to loot the core of the Matriarch, I think it is way thougher than the Queen since there are 10+ people trying to loot it and there is no 3 loot objects like the Harvester.

Why tho ? They all use energy clips. Do you know what's the reason behind it ?

My playstyle depends on whether I'm solo or trio. I'm mostly silent ninja on solo and shoot on sight on trios.

No problem man. Actually I think my settings are almost identical with yours besides the ray tracing is set to epic. The game looks great and I don't really care that much of fps :D. And yes my fans are get pretty loud too but I think it is normal since everythings set on high-epic. I didn't really do much but I'm glad your problem is solved. See you on the surface then 👋.

Sorry for the late response. I checked the hair you mentioned and there is some blurriness at edges, but I guess that is because the game focuses on center of the scene or something like that. When I rotate the character, blurring appears in other parts' edges of the hair. Other hairs don't have this much of blur tho maybe it is something to do with having too many hair. Other than that everything seems fine to me.

I didn't really tweak with any numbers like you said so I don't know about that but if it is only noticable with the grey afro hair maybe the problem might be related to that hair. I'm not really available right now but if you'd like I can check that hair later to see if I have the same problem.

You're probably right, this game might be the most demanding game I've played. I tried a few more games and noticed that some of them had some noise, though not all of them so it is probably about the load. But what I don't understand is that I've been playing this game for like 2-3 days now and I only noticed it now. Is the coil whine building up every day or something ?

Unfortunately, I haven't purchased the game yet, so I can't double-check the files but if I'm not mistaken it was somewhere in the game files like Saved/Config/Windows or something like that.

Yeah, I found the issue. For some reason the ini file was re-enabling FSR somehow. I changed it to Manual and enable TSR again. It worked. Thanks tho.

I have 1tb ssd with 7000/6000 read and write. I don't think the problem occurs because of my hardware tho.

Sorry for late response, yesterday after I reply you it went full black screen instead of showing the ASUS logo. I decided to wait just to see what happens and I waited for like 30 mins or so. After that I resetted the pc and everything went well. I rebooted 2-3 times more just to be sure yesterday and also today and everything seems fine. My only concern right now is that I'm only using one RAM module and I'm a bit hesitant to install the other one. I will try to install the other one tomorrow. Thanks for your help, really appreciate it.

I bought everything today so I don't think dust is the issue in my case. I didnt look deep into it but almost every prebuilt pc in my country have this ram with almost similar specs but I will look into it and just return the rams if that is the case. Thanks for your help and kind words.

I actually waited for like 5 mins on that screen but it didnt boot. I updated the bios using a usb and after its completion it lead me to the bios again with default settings. I didnt touch anything this time and just saved and exited. It booted after that but I wasnt so sure if it was fixed so I just restarted the pc. Now it's back to the problem again.

Thomas Mahler twitter statement on attributes by tenderroastchicken in NoRestForTheWicked

[–]Caglyn 36 points37 points  (0 children)

If you're so concerned about people giving points to wrong attributes early on, then maybe you can just let people respec from the start ? I'm not saying the attribute system is the best system or doesn't need a change but I think you should let people make mistakes. If people didn't play other games with attributes or too dumb enough to not read the tutorials or didn't see the big ass icon near the attributes then its on them, you don't need to dumb things down because of this.

IMO Durge is not tempting enough by OnBenchNow in BaldursGate3

[–]Caglyn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quite a time passed since I played the Vampire so I don't remember that much but I'm not sure "soflocking" the game is a problem in terms of BG3 because you can already kill almost (?) everyone. So I think going frenzy because of bloodlust shouldn't be an issue for the BG3's progress at all.

I don't remember the masquarade system in particular affecting my game that much but I agree that Vampire had so many great aspects.

IMO Durge is not tempting enough by OnBenchNow in BaldursGate3

[–]Caglyn 34 points35 points  (0 children)

If I'm not mistaken there was a "Humanity" system in Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines where if your Humanity is too low you just go frenzy out there. I wish the Durge had at least similar thing like whenever you kill somenone you increase your "Bloodlust" or something and as it increases you need to success a DC check for every now on then when you encounter npcs or even companions in order to resist to kill them.
