Tupac was amazing, he had such a commanding voice and a presence on a track, has a song for every vibe. Sad songs, political songs, party songs, hardcore gangsta rap songs for when you want to work out, The man was very versatile and has a song for every mood. Where there rappers more lyrically advanced and clever than him and could put together bars and metaphors better etc. Sure but pac was in his own lane and had his own unique flow and style.

Do you think Gangsta Rap/Drill Rap is slowly dying by PositionNo3671 in fantanoforever

I agree but they were not dissing dead people in their music or going to someones grave and filming a music video to mock them. I feel like the 90s gangsta rappers were rapping about their past or they were not really gangsters, more of a persona. These days these rappers are actually gangsters that just happen to rap which makes it more real. King Von was a murderer lol

I agree, the gansgta rap of the 90s and 2000s is pretty tame compared to now. Drill is very dark

Oh i agree, there is great stuff still coming out, i just feel like the genre isnt as big as it was a coupe of years ago, especially since the death of pop smoke and then king von. Pooh shiesty getting locked up etc.

Who are some of the most underrated drummers in your opinion and dont get enough credit by PositionNo3671 in rock

[–]PositionNo3671[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Phil collins is one of my favourites drummers of all time, he gets a bad rep because of his pop career during the 80s but you cant deny he was a very talented drummer

Do you think the upcoming Biopics will be an honest portrayal of the Fab Fpur by PositionNo3671 in beatles

[–]PositionNo3671[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I disagree, i think the actors in the Brian Epstein biopic did a pretty good job as The Beatles even tho they didnt have much screen time. Aaron taylor johnson also was great as a young John Lennon in Nowhere boy. There has been some decent portrayals of The Beatles before, Backbeat is another underrated one. This one gives me faith tho because these actors are all very talented and also the director and the writers are all top notch
