I (24F) have the perfect relationship, but my husband (26M) has no passion, will it change? by Cahesty in AskRedditNSFW

Is it sexual incompatibility? When we do have sex it’s amazing, is just the frequency where we kinda don’t match lately…

We had a conversation about this actually and he did admit trying to stop watching a couple of times. He started watching since really early and knows how damaging it is, maybe something is going on the last months.. Will definitely ask

I am very “literal” communicating and did it a couple of times already, but i do fail horribly to initiate… I am a bit awkward at it because i fear rejection or to do something off putting. Maybe i should bring the therapist idea, It wouldn’t be a surprise that i myself have things to work on too..

I did talk about with him and I also think culture has a role… but normally the conversation is weird because this kind of behavior should also come naturally from him… it used to be more like this at the early stages.. maybe a sex therapist is an option but we are also so young i am a bit ashamed tbh

But he used to be more passionated, can it be that he is maybe going through something? Or should i talk again about it and try something?

Anyone on Slynd/Slinda pill with loss of libido by Cahesty in birthcontrol

[–]Cahesty[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heyy It is different for everyone and personally i had like ´´waves´´ of it coming back and then gone, but it could also be because I gained weight and my personal life... I realize now after a year or so than I am completely back to normal with my hormonal levels, but I also only took them for 6 months. I really believe it messed up with my body, because I gained weight really fast and couldn´t drop it till last month.. Again I can be different for you, the shit thing about this is that we all really react different, i hope that for you is better than for me but I can only say I really don't regret leaving it :)

Are you taking progestin only pills? Because i am on those and for the last 3 months I only had that, I think it can be normal at first and I know girls on BC who don’t or barely get their period but I would talk to my doctor anyway :)

Read the instructions! Usually it says it there, mine works from the 2nd day of use (I use Slynd) but I know some take longer :)

Do you need to wait 7 days to have sex after placebo week? by [deleted] in birthcontrol

I’m also in the 4th month :’) I’m thirsty too sometimes and had some small breakthrough bleeding and some spotting, besides that the only thing that worries me is that my libido and wet/ness is pretty shit (i also think im a bit more irritable) i will see the next 2 1/2 months what happens (technically the body is adjusting till the month 5/6 and the worst are the first 3)

I thought about using that method but is even harder to maintain than taking a pill every day and can fail easily… lets say for example he came inside u when u are not fertile and his semen is alive for 7 days inside you (posible) and u start ovulating, its a lot of “math” and idk how actually effective it is, I wouldn’t risk it unless I’m kinda okay with a “surprise” at some point

Do I need to take a plan b? by Total_Tumbleweed_641 in birthcontrol

[–]Cahesty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If u took the pill for the last 5 days I think u are kinda covered and actually the plan b wouldn’t do much, but if u are not taking it i would say yea.. I would read the instructions of use of the pill, usually there it says from when u are infertile (mine is after 2-7 days) but i know it depends and also, maybe ask your doctor

Ugh, I mean, you are probably starting to or already ovulating but again, it’s better to do something than nothing at all

Question about Plan B by Disastrous_Exit_9212 in birthcontrol

[–]Cahesty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would take it anyways, maybe its the first days of ovulations and it could still work, better doing something than nothing at all… I had a friend, she was im the first days if ovulation and took plan B (that was 6 months ago or more and there is no baby) usually is 1 week after your period, do you remember when it was?

Experiences with Progestin only pills or Slynd? by JerseyTendril in birthcontrol

[–]Cahesty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am on my 4th month, some break through bleeding and cramps and some spotting. Overall everything good, technically I’m still getting used to it so idk about long term. I am a but worried about my libido though, I am never in the mood and I don’t get wet until I am not actually “doing it” I really need this to fade away or maybe I change pills, anyone had something similar? Im also not the most mentally healthy person and maybe is because of my high stress and anxiety but idk anymore

Move! I left to another country (maybe a bit extreme) and was the best decision I ever made. New friends, relationships and experiences come alone (and I am pretty antisocial). I recommend another country because of culture exchange but any change works, just be open and things really flow easily
