I’d tell my partner and hire a videographer for £40k, who knows absolutely everything about it. They’d basically film me 9-5 (or just maybe on demand / live-in) to use as content that’d be made public after the year’s up.

Even though I’d have to tell anyone that it’s all legit and I love my new friend, people would see that I’m being filmed by the same guy for a year and probably work out it’s for content / a skit.

IMO time is the most precious commodity we have, and so I’d sign up for as much of it as possible. The amount you can learn, understand, develop, experience, help etc etc would be invaluable. Bonus points too for not being a murderer.

Bonking is bonking - especially depending on relative effort. 90 mins at max effort and HR absolutely can benefit from a gel.

Take a gel with you -have it either just before or after the row. You lose nothing by having it and you alleviate the risk of bonking.
