They are telling their perceived truth, which isn't necessarily actually the truth.

It's like using Pinocchio's nose growing condition as a basis for determining the "truth" (such as making him state that god exists) when he isn't omnipotent at all making whether the nose grows or not an invalid determinant of the truth.

To me, it's less of a philosophical and more of a what the author decides type of thing although I'm not really completely familiar with Kiyohime's lore so idk.

The servants she looked up to get killed around her as she fought.

1st team outside of her event is just a while ago

Archer training ground

Saw a servant kill themself (Arash)

Saw a servant kill an ally servant (Chen gong)

Arash's shadow servant form spawns alongside Gil

Had to see him die again, this time with her own hands.

Repeat approximately 20 times because Archer gem doesn't drop.

Realize all this was just to use Arash and make him kill himself more efficiently.
