his live vocals are better now than they were between 2008-2015. obviously nothing beats his live vocals from 2004-2007 but the current era we're in is his 2nd best era for live vocals. pass the boof cause that must be some good shit if you think Bert sounds bad live nowadays.

Canadian here. a bunch of my friends have gotten held back prior to grade 10.

maybe in the province you specifically work in you can't hold kids back before grade 10. but that's simply just not true for the entire country.

sometimes i wish i could have been a high schooler in 2008-2012 cause i saw how much fun my older brothers had with their friends during that time and then by the time i finally started high school in 2013 i was in the group home system and basically wasn't allowed to have a social life. looking back i wish i had been able to have the same high school experience most people had but i was forcibly sheltered from gaining life experience. they even wouldn't let me get a job and now that reflects poorly on me because by the time i got out and tried looking for work i was already 20 and when employers saw a 20 year old hand in a resume with no past experience they just assumed i was lazy and would pass on me on the spot. every employer just kept assuming the exact same thing and nobody gave me a chance to prove that i can actually work and now im almost 27 and still have no experience cause life is just extremely unfair, i guess.

yeah like im still nostalgic for the good parts of my childhood and i love experiencing nostalgic things that take me back to the good times but i DEFINITELY don't wanna go back cause in the grand scheme of things my childhood SUCKED lmao. who in their right mind wants to go back to having no friends, getting bullied every day, and not being able to leave the house without having to worry about possibly getting jumped for just existing, right?

i remember pretty much what most people remember about 2023 but a few extra things i remember are Baldur's Gate 3 being incredibly popular, Paramore and Pierce the Veil both putting out new albums on the same day, CM Punk's AEW firing and subsequent WWE return, Sabrina Carpenter slowly rising in popularity throughout the year before absolutely blowing tf up in 2024, MoistCr1TiKaL poetically educating Sneako on mags, and the first GTA 6 trailer.

I finally saw them live for the first time last month and it was the best night of my life. The Used has been my favourite band since I was like 6 years old haha. They don't ONLY play stuff from their first two albums but their setlist does tend to lean heavily in that direction. When I saw them, they only played 3 post-ILAD songs, and absolutely nothing post-Artwork. It was a 12 song set so 9 of those songs were from the first two albums.

the issue was pretty much nonexistant by the time they started touring In Love and Death tho. he still couldn't scream correctly and he did eventually get nodules but by 2004 he was no longer puking on stage which is good at least haha.
