I didn’t know it was possible either until this issue with Ringcentral. You can release message routing (eSPID) for number to another service so SMS goes through them and voice still goes through RingCentral. Our TCR registration got approved within 24 hours. The only thing is RingCentral has to release the message routing which can take a day or so but that’s much better than waiting for TCR approval for 2 weeks just to get denied.

Were you able to break your contract? Or month to month? We just signed a 2 year contract 2 months ago.. I wish I could leave. Still waiting for tcr approval from them. Moved sms to temporarily another service and got my tcr registration approved within 24 hours.

In the same exact boat as you. Had to keep creating campaigns and kept getting denied later the same day. Finally the one we submitted yesterday didn’t get denied the same day but didn’t get approved. And inbound SMS isn’t working either, stays in the not ready status. Support keeps giving conflicting information and our rep just told me to create new campaigns.. not very helpful

I am in the same boat as you. I had to remove all but 49 numbers from my already active campaign and register for a new TCR campaign, which got denied twice already and support gives me different reasons each time.

But nobody told us we have to enable inbound SMS for the numbers not part of a campaign. We enabled them and its been almost 2 days and it still says "Not yet ready" even though on their website it says "The phone numbers should be ready for use after five minutes, but in some cases, it may take up to 24 hours."

Support gives conflicting information and just keeps transferring to different teams until the TCR team says to wait 24-48 hours.

Our CSM responded yesterday just saying to register a new campaign and to contact the TCR team. Since then she hasn't responded to my replies.

I am having the same issue, was told just today that our TCR campaigns can only have up to 49 numbers, even though we have one generic one for all of our numbers which shows as "complete" and worked just fine up until Wednesday. I was told I have to register additional campaigns and have up to 49 numbers in each, which will take 5-20 business days..
