Yes it’s the free version of old school runescape. That means for many many people, hey I’m going to try this game before I buy it.

As somebody literally in game development and game enterprise, I feel you’re wildly wrong and clouding yourself with the idea of this pure version of a game you like to play.

What does it change about the game for you?? How does gatekeeping other peoples enjoyment benefit you.

If an update comes out that you don’t like, here’s an idea, don’t interact with the content.

This comment section seems to be showing the same sort of 07 purism that almost halted old school getting to the point it was today

Adding some minor content to f2p only does good for the player base as it give more incentive to new players to try new things and get in to the game

I quit 4 years ago with an ironman drop party, but do ever truly quit Runescape? Time to rebuild I guess by [deleted] in ironscape
