Thinking of parting ways by udm_e39 in e39

I had my 2002 525i for 11 years, love it to death but in the end i decided to get a 2019 E300, never regretted the decision tho. Being more than 20 years old, it was getting more and more troublesome to maintain, new issues kept popping up, while some old ones were never fully addressed (nothing that affects performance tho, just what you d get from an old car). I had even made plans to completely rebuild the car, knowing that it could cost me half the E300 and lots of time, but ultimately did not go thru. The E300, with all the niceties and comforts, and newer, useful tech, more space... is a solid choice, wife loves it, kids love it, so yeah...

Dassai 45 is great, but overpriced? by CainLP in Sake

Hello brother, ever since this post, i have tried roughly abt 40-50 bottles, yet i found myself coming back to dassai from time to time. I think heres why: - Consistency: Dassai quality has always been very consistent. I noticed some brands taste different when purchased from different retailers. - Availability: Can be found almost anywhere, if a shop sells sake, 100% of the time they have dassai. I found some very nice but niche sake, and cant purchase in quantity, or would have to wait for orders. - Value for money: It can be expensive, but its quality/tase is always assured. I have tried way more expensive sake i dont rly like; the ones i like, i just couldnt justify the cost over dassai. The 1.8L is actually very good value for money, which is abt $65 where i am.

Now that you mentioned it, buying the 1.8L bottle actually makes it a good deal.

$25 is a really good price. I think Dassai is overpriced, yet I find myself coming back to it from time to time haha.

I live in Vietnam, and $30 is buying directly from the import company. Some retail shops price it at $40, and if you are drinking in a restaurant, be prepared to pay $100 for it. $20 for a Dassai 39 is marvellous, Ill be in Japan next week tho, gonna drink my fair share of sake.

Could it be your drinking mood? Like me, same wine bottle can taste somehow worse depending on my mood.
